Operate quantification, sizing, and NGS instruments.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Morrisville, NC is $54,800 - $68,500 per year. The salary range is commensurate with Foundation Medicine's compensation practice and considers factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, external market conditions, criticality of role, and internal equity. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for Foundation Medicine's benefits.

A confidential healthcare laboratory is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join their Core Lab team. This role supports critical testing functions across Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis/Body Fluids, and Serology.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine and standardized laboratory tests using established techniques and equipment.
Prepare, label, and store specimens; resolve specimen problems and conduct analytical testing.
Prepare reagents, controls, and standard materials; monitor reagent levels and supply needs.
Record and report test results, highlighting any abnormal findings to supervisors or physicians.
Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure accurate test performance.
Instruct patients on test preparation (including fasting) and answer related questions.
Assist with training of new staff, clinical students, and residents as needed.
Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Associate's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Technician, Chemical Science, Biological Science or equivalent experience.
MediClear certification or equivalent required.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work efficiently in a high -volume lab environment.
