About the Role BNI Treatment Centers is seeking a dedicated Clinical Counselor to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with our clinical staff to support the treatment and growth of adolescents in our care. The Metro Mental Health Specialist works as a team member of a multi-disciplinary homeless street outreach team (MDT), in collaboration with social service professionals, ensuring the delivery of quality care in accordance with the rules and regulations established by the Los Angeles Department of Health Services (DHS). The Metro Mental Health Specialist as part of the DHS ICMS Street Based Engagement Outreach (SBE) Team, will work in a variety of settings that will involve traveling on public transportation and on HYC designated vehicles. The Metro Mental Health Specialist will travel with the MDT Outreach team to a variety of sites including but not limited to transit stops on bus and rail line stops/stations, homeless encampments, shelters, drop-in centers, mobile outreach teams, and other areas as designated by DHS. The Mental Health Specialist will use the whatever it takes approach to help people experiencing homelessness with mental health support and interventions on the field. Prototypes Women's Center-Oxnard is a residential drug and alcohol treatment facility that provides detoxification and residential substance abuse treatment to women, and women with children.
