Responsibilities: * Ensure the safety of work practices, procedures and protection of the environment, including compliance with all applicable company, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations. * Work closely with the Sr. Foremen and Superintendent on all aspects of the Operations. * In accordance with supervisor's (Field Foreman/Operational Supervisor) broad instructions, has full responsibility for coordinating field activities from daily work activities to project work. * Manage midstream operations and general maintenance of gas gathering facilities, central transfer facilities, and central processing facilities. * Ensure the coordination of the work to optimize transportation and facility throughput, minimize downtime, and avoid environmental and safety risks. * Direct the work activities of company and contract personnel on daily operations tasks as well as broadly coordinating the activities of other work in the field such as small construction crews and maintenance crews. * Mentor midstream operators (Western Midstream and contract) in facility operations including troubleshooting. * Acts as liaison between the field personnel and other functional support groups (SWD, Oil handling, and midstream) providing operational input to projects. * Assist with budget preparation and control costs to within the limits of the budget. * Prepare bid documents and maintain costs for all phases of midstream operations such as facility operations, pipeline operations and construction projects. * Work with company databases and programs such as CygNet, SAP, Intelex, etc. * Provide support for other supervisory personnel including vacation relief. Education: * Minimum of HS Diploma or GED required. * Associates Degree, Trade School or Applicable Professional Certifications are preferred. Certifications/Licenses: * Valid driver's license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle. This position serves as the local expert in the diagnostic, repair, improvement and best practices of hydraulic systems. The Hydraulic Technician is able to perform the duties and responsibilities in an autonomous manner while providing exceptional service to the district's operations personnel. Individuals in this position are highly skilled technicians who are “master mechanics” with regard to hydraulic systems while having a strong mechanical aptitude to repair other heavy equipment as the need arises.Duties and Responsibilities Diagnose and repair complex issues in hydraulic circuit systems associated with Coiled Tubing Units (CTU) such as hydraulic pumps, injector head, blowout preventers (BOP) and CT reels. Performs hydraulic system checks to proactively resolve mechanical issues prior to becoming critical failures to maintain equipment in a continual state of readiness. Responds to field maintenance issues in an expeditious manner to minimize the Non-Productive Time (NPT) of inoperable equipment at the customer's wellsite. Completes documentation such as work orders on maintenance activity that is accurate, complete, and timely. Instructs maintenance technicians and other personnel in the best practices of hydraulic systems including the operations, repairs, diagnostics, and equipment upgrades. Models and supervises good housekeeping techniques around the shop as well as on the customer's job location. Communicates detailed, technical information such as the root-cause analysis of hydraulic-related failures as well as their current repair status to non-technical and management personnel. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to diagnose and remediate any issues with hydraulic systems in a Coiled Tubing Unit (CTU) system such as pumps, injector head, BOP, and CTU reel is critical to this role. Knowledge of hydraulic systems, schematics, and hydraulic pumps such as the Gold Cup pumps. Skilled in maintaining and repairing electric over hydraulic systems. Skilled in tracing schematic diagrams with physical component and hydraulic line location associated with CTU hydraulic systems. Ability to translate schematic diagrams of similar equipment and configuration. Knowledge of CTU operations is preferred. Skilled in performing hydraulic and pump calculations a plus. Mechanically inclined ability to repair engine systems as plus. Ability to teach, mentor, and coach maintenance staff on hydraulic systems.
