    This position is with Western Midstream Southern Region as a member of the Delaware Gathering team in the Kermit/Orla, TX area. The incumbent will supervise the daily production activity including the safe, environmentally sound, and cost-effective management of oil treating, gas gathering facilities, water gathering, and related transportation. Qualifications: * The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following minimum qualifications: * Minimum of 5 years relevant midstream field operations experience. * Ability to conduct employee performance coaching/training and to manage complex scheduling. * Must have strong organization and planning skills, and be flexible and able to manage through change. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as problem solving skills required. * Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel required. Responsibilities: * Ensure the safety of work practices, procedures and protection of the environment, including compliance with all applicable company, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations. * Work closely with the Sr. Foremen and Superintendent on all aspects of the Operations. * In accordance with supervisor's (Field Foreman/Operational Supervisor) broad instructions, has full responsibility for coordinating field activities from daily work activities to project work. * Manage midstream operations and general maintenance of gas gathering facilities, central transfer facilities, and central processing facilities. * Ensure the coordination of the work to optimize transportation and facility throughput, minimize downtime, and avoid environmental and safety risks. * Direct the work activities of company and contract personnel on daily operations tasks as well as broadly coordinating the activities of other work in the field such as small construction crews and maintenance crews. * Mentor midstream operators (Western Midstream and contract) in facility operations including troubleshooting. * Acts as liaison between the field personnel and other functional support groups (SWD, Oil handling, and midstream) providing operational input to projects. * Assist with budget preparation and control costs to within the limits of the budget. * Prepare bid documents and maintain costs for all phases of midstream operations such as facility operations, pipeline operations and construction projects. * Work with company databases and programs such as CygNet, SAP, Intelex, etc. * Provide support for other supervisory personnel including vacation relief. Education: * Minimum of HS Diploma or GED required. * Associates Degree, Trade School or Applicable Professional Certifications are preferred. Certifications/Licenses: * Valid driver's license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle. In response to this market trend, the Renewables & Clean Power (R&CP) team have signed an early works contract to build one of the largest gas fired power generation facilities in the U.S. This project is of significant scale and complexity, and our team is helping the customer progress early-stage development, that would lead to the start of full EPC delivery next year. The candidate may start in the home office in Reston, VA or Houston, TX, as single status, to support preconstruction planning, ahead of project mobilization to the field when the candidate will locate on a long-term assignment to Pecos, Texas. This position is contingent upon project award. # Job Summary: In this role, you will lead a team and manage project cost estimating, analysis, and control activities. You will identify cost trends for management attention, support project organizational and administrative activities, and ensure work is completed as scheduled.
