    Processes prisoners in Identification Bureau by recording demographic, arrest and /or court ordered data, capturing fingerprint and palm images via a live scan, and processing the records through the local Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS). Compares fingerprints images for repeat offenders "one to one" for positive ID using a magnifying glass. Captures mug photos and tattoos and update information on computer. Completes forms required by the courts and /or administration. Submit criminal records to State and Federal law enforcement agencies. File and create documents using numbering systems, monthly reports, logs and complete filing. Assist and communicate with outside law enforcement agencies and court systems. Processes identification of employees. Appears in court as a witness when necessary. Completes documentation and other paperwork in a timely, accurate, and complete fashion so that service requests can be appropriately documented and tracked. 5. Supports cost-cutting and expense control programs by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible, not being wasteful with materials and supplies, and practicing the correct use for tools and equipment.
