Operates and tends automated machinery that performs one or more liquid bottling packaging functions, to assist in meeting assembly line production schedules.

Feed components onto assembly conveyor, into hoppers, machinery or other devices to maintain continuous production. Replenish and unload components, such as corrugated cardboard, glue, plastic wrap, pumps, inserts, bottles, caps, labels, sprayers, etc., avoiding breaks in production assembly process.
Manually assemble/install various liquid packaging component parts including but not limited to sprayers, caps, box dividers, cases, display units, etc.
Clean, lubricate, reassemble, install, troubleshoot and adjust assembly line equipment to meet yearly and daily maintenance requirements and to complete frequent reconfiguration of assembly lines in preparation for changing product runs.
Effectively communicate and relay information to peers and supervisors concerning the performance of the production line as it pertains to the assembly, operation and performance of the line.
Continuously look for methods, procedural changes, or equipment modifications to improve line output and efficiencies and communicate appropriately.
Perform various manufacturing inspection protocols to ensure plant quality standards on liquid packaging products and display units.
What you'll need to be successful:
High School Diploma / GED, preferred.
Minimum 1 year experience as a machine operator, production operator or equivalent position in a high speed manufacturing environment preferred.
Basic math skills, mechanical aptitude, ability to make decisions regarding equipment adjustments to meet product specifications and quality conformity.
Ability to follow the directions provided in verbal or non-verbal format.
Demonstrate a willingness to learn multiple machines or operations.
Must be a team player and promote teamwork amongst productions lines, departments and shifts.

Compile, evaluate, and report data as required by the Sales Support Manager or Sales Operations Manager
Assist with duties, presentations, and organization of materials as they relate to industry organizational meetings
Support inter-office departments in assisting with customer inquiries
Provide feedback to the Sales Support Manager and Sales Operations Manager concerning trends in the industry as well as internal happenings
Perform other related duties as may be required by the Sales Support Manager or the Sales Operations Manager
Regional Locations Only* - Assist warehouse staff as needed to meet customer obligations
Travel may be required for field shows, dealer visits, Becknology days and may vary in duration of time.
Job Requirements
Education and training:
Bachelor of Science Degree in agricultural related field or equivalent experience preferred
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and insurable driving record as determined by Beck's automobile policy.
Chauffer license or equivalent may be required.
Travel and hours of work:
Possible travel for field shows, dealer visits, and Becknology days.
Extended work hours during Beck's busy seasons

The Plant Senior Supervisor will provide strategic operational oversight for the preparation and extraction department for the soybean crushing facility in Sioux City, IA. In this role, you will oversee safety, quality, operational effectiveness, and financial performance. This role will directly supervise hourly operators and may supervise other roles in the future.
DUTIES
Ensure employee, food and feed safety and environmental compliance program standards and goals are implemented.
Accountable for all internal and external operating and regulatory procedures on employee, food, and feed safety including strategic tactical execution in alignment with the corporate environment, health and safety, and food safety, quality, and regulatory functions as well as government regulations.
Establish and deploy operational priorities for a single department or multiple departments with moderate complexity.
Leads strategic and tactical operations and quality management deliverables to ensure customer, product, and quality standard requirements are met within specifications.
Lead, direct, and controls capital and operating budgets for a single department or multiple departments with moderate complexity to achieve medium-term outlook financial performance objectives set by the business.
Ensure and hold direct reports accountable for meeting and controlling operating expenses and established targets.
Oversee the overall operational management and implement operational efficiency improvements which may include standardization of plant information manufacturing system, quality control, safety, production reliability excellence, and maintenance and operators' best practices.
Lead and develop a team, coach, and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
A minimum of 4 years of related work experience.
Experience in oilseed processing (soy, canola, sunflower, corn germ, flaxseed, cottonseed, etc.)
Strong organizational abilities and good communication skills
Fluent in English.
