This position is contingent upon successful contract award to V2X. #clearance Responsibilities Major Job Activities: + Multi-disciplined network engineer with experience maintaining and fixing wired, wireless, and mobile broadband solutions in response to network faults, errors, incidents, and problems. + Provides touch labor for all network devices. + Oversee monitoring of network assets per SLAs. + Performs break / fix and maintenance activities. + Monitors network dashboards, analyzing problems, troubleshooting escalated incidents, coordinating, and reporting all operational information concerning the enterprise network infrastructure. + Provides subject matter expertise for LAN, WAN, firewalls, and other network technologies. + Investigates and diagnoses incidents to restore failed network services as quickly as possible. + Leads root cause analysis and suggests resolutions for network infrastructure problems. + Installs and supports remote access platforms such as VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix. + Has a fundamental understanding of network engineering concepts and adapts to emerging technologies as they are introduced to the environment. + Knowledge of network protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP. + Experience with Cisco command line interface and configuration.
