The Opportunity
We are seeking two Network Operators to join our firm. These positions will be based in our White Plains office (hybrid after initial cross-training). There are multiple shifts available:
Weekend Night (3 days): Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
The Network Operators support and maintain the Firm's production infrastructure that operates 24x7x365 to ensure maximum availability and performance of all services. Working as a team takes ownership of the production infrastructure including, WAN, LAN, administration, analysis, installation, configuration, maintenance, and documentation. Please note that the Firm will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
Leads and participates in proactive service management and incident response to eliminate and mitigate operational issues that impact end-users.
Monitors the health, performance and availability of computer systems using diversified tools.
Troubleshoots and resolves malfunctioning hardware, software, and environmental alerts.
Performs Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and escalates to the team for remediation.
Works collaboratively to resolve problems within the team and as necessary escalates to internal and external engineering resources.
Works proactively to triage or troubleshoot alerts, events and issues that impact the Firm's production IT Infrastructure.
Coordinates with third-party vendors, satellite office contacts, or other IT teams for holistic problem solving and communication.
Responds to incidents and carefully tracks and documents all defects and resolutions in detail.
Assists with helping to increase the expert knowledge base of NOC and maintenance of system's health record.
Works within the Firm's ticketing system and is accountable for updating, tracking, and resolving incidents.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior IT Administrator will set up and manage the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) program by creating clear rules, standard procedures, service expectations, and automating routine tasks via workflows.

Base Salary Range
The anticipated salary range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000. The anticipated range is based on information as of the time this post was generated and does not include any discretionary bonus or benefits (see eligibility below). The applicable annual salary or hourly rate paid to a successful applicant will be determined based on multiple factors, including without limitation the nature and extent of prior experience, skills, and qualifications. This wage range may be modified in the future.

DESCRIPTION:
The NetworkAdministrator is responsible for the configuration, implementation and management for the network. The NetworkAdministrator must also monitor and analyze the network for problems and vulnerabilities. Additional duties include the augmentation of the server and storage infrastructure support staff, data security and restoration, infrastructure project management and planning, and at times, end-user support. The person should have in-depth technical knowledge of networking and Information Technology infrastructure design, security strategies and tactics, and be well-versed in industry trends related to networking, security, disaster recovery and IT infrastructure. The position reports to the Director of IT Infrastructure.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
Adheres to policy and procedures for the patching and maintenance of all network equipment
Monitors network performance for efficiency and makes recommendations for future enhancements to mitigate potential issues
Conducts periodic vulnerability and security risk assessments for all sites-cooperates with other organizations on Network Security issues
Research and evaluation in order to provide cost effective solutions to meet department and company needs within budgetary constraints
Network planning and support in an SDWAN and Internet environment, and security thereof
Networkadministration and configuration of routers, switches and firewalls
Planning, architecting and recommending security solutions for Windows-based applications

EDUCATION:

EXPERIENCE:
5+ years' of recent experience maintaining/supporting Windows Server environments at an enterprise level
Thorough knowledge of LAN, WAN and WLAN technologies and security protocols
Architecture and deployment experience with Microsoft's Active Directory and Virtualization (VMWare) technologies
Thorough understanding of enterprise datacenter technologies including Networking, Security, TCP/IP and DNS
Experience designing, planning and implementing large scale stable solutions
