This is a long-term project: Infrastructure Support Technician - Perform physical installation/replacement, rack and stack, update documentation of network equipment per the Customer installation and qualification guidelines. In Data Centers and server rooms, lay and maintain cabling for networking and storage and removal of cables when no longer needed. Document all cabling modifications (additions, moves, deletions). Scope: On-Site Data Center Support is required from 8am - 5pm or 7am - 7pm Monday to Friday. Each Infrastructure Support tech will be assigned a 9 hour shift (1 Hr. for lunch) to help support these hours of operation After Hours Support - These resources will be required to support a rotating schedule to manage “After Hours” Hands and Eyes Support Requirements for these site. The Tech will occasionally be required to return to the site sometime in the evening or on the weekend. Tape Loads on the weekends - These Techs will also maintain a rotating schedule to support “Tape Load” requirements in the Data Centers on the weekends.
