Screen for pain and understands treatment strategies for pain including pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic approaches. Strategies should reflect an individualized approach based on the individual's current presentation, medical judgment and the risks and benefits associated with strategies, including potential risk of dependency, addiction, and abuse. Demonstrates proficiency using the electronic health record with all required documentation. ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures, state regulation, Joint Commission standards. These records will be completed and authenticated in a timely manner per policy. Familiarity with ASAM/ ASAM Criteria and other indicated healthcare standards is preferred. What is Required? * Master's degree in nursing and certification through a national Nurse Practitioner Licensing board. * 1+ years of clinical nursing experience * 1+ year post-graduate clinical nursing experience in the hospice and palliative care field preferred * Prior experience in Family Medicine, Geriatrics and psychiatry preferred. * Current licensure in the state of practice as a Nurse Practitioner and maintain such licensure in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. * Maintain active DEA certification if state allows prescription of controlled substances by APPs * 50% travel required * Sit, stand, bend, lift and move intermittently and be able to lift 50-100 lbs. * Valid driver's license and insurance and reliable transportation to perform job tasks You will report to the Clinical Team Manager.
