Job Description

FamilyMedix Primary Care Clinic is seeking a NursePractitioner to join our team in Houston, TX. This position could be either full time or part time, 2 days to 5 days a week with a typical work week.
As a NursePractitioner with FamilyMedix Primary Care Clinic, you will provide care for patients in a clinic setting. We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated practitioner to help us deliver high-quality care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with family or internal medicine. He/she will have an interest in helping people achieve their goals and live healthy lives.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat patient health problems using the best available knowledge and research.
Work with the physician to evaluate patients' health conditions and determine the best treatment options.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff to help facilitate patient care.
Provide education to patients about healthcare practices, diseases, and conditions.
Reconstruct surgical charts and prepare follow-up reports for patients who have had surgery.
Evaluate patient condition after treatment and determine the appropriate course of treatment, if necessary, based on patient needs.
Communicate with physicians about patient conditions and needs.
Obtain informed consent from patients for treatments or procedures that may be associated with legal or personal legal matters.
Perform routine injections of medications and vaccines.
At least 2 years of experience of seeing patients as an NP is required
Spanish speaking skill is preferred.
All other duties assigned by the provider and the management.
