To practice in an advanced role to provide health maintenance for well newborns and infants, episodic care for ill infants, and comprehensive care for newborns and infants with chronic conditions. The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) practices through delegation of a medical staff attending and works collaboratively with other members of the health care team.
