Essential Skills
6-8 years of Cardiac Surgery/Thoracic Transplant nursing experience and 2-5 years in a leadership or management role.

Active Registered Nurse license in New York State required.
Minimum 2 years of OperatingRoom experience required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Relevant specialty certifications as applicable.
CNOR certification preferred.
Prior experience working in a non-union based position.

Work at a prestigious hospital located steps away from NYC, with the option to live in NYC or the nearby Long Island suburbs. Enjoy a 4-day work week with 10-hour shifts and the flexibility to set your schedule based on organizational needs. Work in the new Petrocelli Surgical Pavilion, overseeing a team of 20-25 employees, including Assistant Nurse Managers, Nurses, surgical techs, anesthesia techs, and peri-operative assistants. The hospital boasts an 800+ bed capacity and a 48-room OR, recognized as the best hospital in NY State and the New York Metropolitan Region. Leadership is required to be on call 24/7.
