JOB SUMMARY:
The Building Engineer I apply trade skills to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repair of building systems for the safe, efficient and proper operation of the assigned property. The Building Engineer oversees the daily operations, maintenance, and functionality of two commercial properties located in Laguna Hills and Orange, CA. This role ensures all building systems are operating efficiently and safely, supervises service vendors, maintains preventive maintenance programs, and serves as the primary point of contact for all facility-related matters - including emergency response.
Schedule Details

Daily Building Operations
Conduct thorough daily walk-throughs and inspections of both properties.

Monitor and adjust HVAC systems (especially pneumatic thermostats) for proper performance.

Preventive Maintenance & System Performance
Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Custodial, Grounds, & Tenant Support
Supervise custodial and landscape maintenance for cleanliness and presentation of all common areas.

Safety & Compliance

Qualifications
