    This Operations Engineer role will report to the General Manager Northern Delaware Basin and will design and execute pipeline, facilities, and other saltwater disposal related projects. This includes creating drawings, system hydraulics, project economics, and managing project execution, and project cost tracking. The Operations engineer will need to maintain a construction schedule and coordinate planning efforts with the procurement and construction teams to execute projects in a timely manner. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: The following represents most of the duties performed by the position but is not meant to be all-inclusive nor prevent other duties from being assigned when necessary. Employees are expected to comply with all regulatory, environmental, and safety rules and standards, as well as corporate policies. As an Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for: Facilitating projects in accordance with the company's engineering guidelines, specifications and industry standards to ensure regulatory agency requirements are met. Executing appropriate processes into operations to ensure compliance with company safety guidelines. Designing, bidding, and managing high-impact pipeline and disposal facility projects. Executing design plans, timelines, system hydraulics, and project budgets, as well as cost tracking for all projects. Creating, managing, reporting, and maintaining operation and capital budgets to stay within approved limits for expenditures and budget. Preparing appropriate documentation such as cost estimates, start-up procedures, management of change documentation and construction turnover packages. Exemplifying logistics standards and procedures, utilizing personal and departmental knowledge and resources as needed. Ensuring pipelines and facilities are operated in a safe and efficient manner and ensures capital projects are completed on time and on budget. Managing operating budgets and tracking/communicating changes to dates, volume forecasts, performance, and cost to stakeholders. Creating BOM/Material acquisition and assisting in quoting process. Creating Drawings & P&IDs. Developing, communicating, and implementing company policies and procedures for Pipeline and Facilities Operations; ensuring consistency in application and compliance. Assisting in reviewing company policies and procedures and makes recommendations for revision based on best practices. Providing continuous technical and project management support for Operations Management. Qualifications & Requirements: Have bachelor's degree in petroleum, mechanical, civil, or chemical engineering, or related field of study is required. Must have a minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in E&P or Midstream Production Operations. Must be able to travel to Pecos and Houston, Texas frequently. Must have Microsoft Suite experience (Advanced Excel & PowerPoint). Must have experience with system hydraulics tools (Synergi, Pipesim, NextGen, or others). Must be able to effectively communicate changes and updates to project schedules, costs, and design to the appropriate stakeholders. Have working knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards with HSE regulations. Have in-depth knowledge and understanding of the design and construction of gathering pipeline systems, as well as operations and construction of saltwater disposal facilities. Other necessary knowledge includes production, pump operations, chemical treating, fluid processing, and overall saltwater disposal processes Be able to communicate to stakeholders, customers, and executives with minimal guidance. Must be able to develop and maintain a strong partnership with field operations and construction teams. Have innate organizational and be detail oriented to meet deadlines. Must have leadership skills to work cross-collaboratively between all levels of the business and external workers. Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Have excellent project management skills and experience in hydraulic modeling is required. Be able to work independently and in a team environment.
