Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) sector is looking for a Staff Structural Liaison Engineer (T05) with Material Review Board (MRB) experience to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located onsite at our St. Augustine, FL production facility with a 4x10 work schedule (10-hour workdays Monday - Thursday with every Friday off; Tuesday - Friday may also be an option).
In this role, under the guidance and supervision of higher-level engineers, you will develop, design and analyze MRB repair dispositions for discrepancies in aircraft primary and secondary structure and mechanical systems resulting from manufacturing, design, or tooling errors.
Responsibilities include:
Participating in corrective action investigations of engineering caused non-conformances and generate any required corrective engineering documentation including Engineering Orders and Direct Drawing Changes
Performing basic structural analysis to substantiate repair dispositions with concurrence from the stress department
Interfacing with Quality, Material, and Manufacturing departments when developing repair solutions or corrective action
Basic Qualifications:
Staff Engineer: Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of related experience; OR a Master of Science (MS) degree in a STEM discipline with 10 years of related experience
Experience with the MRB process
Knowledge of or experience with aircraft technology and airframe primary and secondary structures
Experience with 3-D CAD Design tools (i.e., Siemens NX, Unigraphics, Catia V4/V5)
Able to perform basic structural analysis to substantiate repairs/designs
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
Experience with electrical repairs
Familiarity with Teamcenter product lifecycle and model management system
Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
Current Secret clearance
Mechanical systems and troubleshooting experience.
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel, flight control, landing gear, propulsion systems.
Flight line experience and ability to determine safety of flight.
E-2 aircraft experience

Job Summary:
The Mechanical Engineer supports the safe, timely, and cost-effective execution of assigned capital projects within aluminum extrusion, fabrication, and billet casting facilities. These projects typically range in value from $1 million to $40 million and may involve the refurbishment of existing equipment or the installation of new systems. Required Education/Experience

* Demonstrated experience in combustion systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics (preferred).

* Perform mechanical engineering and design activities from concept development through project handover, in alignment with the established PESHA process.
* Execute a range of engineering tasks, including analytical problem-solving, design calculations, technical evaluations of supplier and contractor proposals, equipment and contractor selection, and drawing creation and management.
* Actively participate in cross-functional teams to drive alignment and achieve shared project goals.
* Travel to domestic and international vendor and supplier sites as required to support project execution (up to 90%).
* Identify and implement changes, enhancements, and modifications to improve manufacturing value and efficiency.
* Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor, including accessing equipment via ladders or elevated platforms to assess progress, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.

Position Overview:
As part of the talented Brunswick Boat Group Technology Center team, you will be responsible for the engineering and integration of mechanical and propulsion system designs for all Brunswick Boat Group Technology Center programs. Generate engineering drawings for new designs and approve all documentation prior to release.

Support manufacturing and customer service on issues resolution.
Ensure that designs have been fully validated and that they meet necessary system specifications and performance requirements/.

Ensure compliance with all necessary industry, domestic, and international government regulations.
Ensure that all materials used in the manufacture of finished products have been tested and approved for quality and reliability.
Perform final system design verification tests as needed.

Summary

We are looking for a Technical Services Engineer for our Deland, FL office!
Summary: This role is ideal for professionals with progressive engineering experience, capable of handling complex assignments with minimal supervision. The Technical Services Engineer will lead technical projects, provide mentorship to junior engineers, and contribute to innovative solutions in their field.

Essential Duties:
* Lead technical coordination for complex project conditions, including non-standard applications and custom interface solutions.
* Perform detailed structural, thermal, and weatherability evaluations to meet project and code-specific performance criteria.
* Prepare and review project-specific documentation, including stamped calculations and detailed drawings.
* Interpret and apply complex code provisions and certification standards for high-performance designs.
* Provide mentorship and quality oversight for junior engineers, ensuring technical accuracy and consistency.
* Follow the Group Code of Conduct and Group Compliance.
* Follow Compliance requirements per "KNA-SOP-1705 Compliance Roles and Responsibilities."
* Performs all other duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities - Aligned to ASCE Guidelines:
* Lead engineering design, analysis, and problem-solving for complex projects.
* Develop and review technical reports, drawings, and documentation.
* Manage project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
* Conduct site visits, inspections, and evaluations as needed.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
* Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
Education/Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or another relevant engineering discipline.
* 4+ years of professional engineering experience.
* Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in engineering software and tools.
* Effective communication and leadership abilities.
Other Skills and Requirements:
* Experience managing projects or engineering tasks independently.
* Familiarity with industry codes and standards.
* Knowledge of project management principles and best practices.
