Job Title: Mechanical EngineerJob Description
This position is responsible for designing custom automated equipment, spending approximately 75%-80% of the time on design work. Work Environment

Job Summary
The Mechanical Engineer supports the safe, timely, and cost-effective execution of assigned capital projects within aluminum extrusion, fabrication, and billet casting facilities. These projects typically range in value from $1 million to $40 million and may involve the refurbishment of existing equipment or the installation of new systems. All projects are to be developed and executed in alignment with Hydro's Capital Value Process.
What You Will Be Doing
* Lead the safe, timely, and cost-effective development and execution of capital projects.
* Perform mechanical engineering and design activities from concept development through project handover, in alignment with the established PESHA process.
* Execute a range of engineering tasks, including analytical problem-solving, design calculations, technical evaluations of supplier and contractor proposals, equipment and contractor selection, and drawing creation and management.
* Actively participate in cross-functional teams to drive alignment and achieve shared project goals.
* Travel to domestic and international vendor and supplier sites as required to support project execution (up to 90%).
* Identify and implement changes, enhancements, and modifications to improve manufacturing value and efficiency.
* Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor, including accessing equipment via ladders or elevated platforms to assess progress, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.
* Design and draft mechanical systems related to aluminum manufacturing equipment, with a focus on CNC/fabrication, extrusion, and heavy mill machinery.
* Develop specifications and detailed documentation for machine subassemblies, or be responsible for detail design of, such as robotic end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) and machining fixtures.
* Up to 90% travel required (based on project).
What Will Make You Successful
Required Education/Experience:
* Associate's degree in mechanical engineering, and or equivalent work experience is preferred.
* 5 + years of experience in a manufacturing environment and with capital project life cycle.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
* Demonstrated experience in combustion systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics (preferred).
* Hands-on experience with CNC fixturing, operation, and implementation (preferred).
* Prior experience in aluminum extrusion and/or fabrication operations is highly desirable.
* Proven track record in the installation and commissioning of mill-grade industrial equipment.
* Experience in designing custom equipment to meet specific manufacturing requirements.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Project for project planning and scheduling.

What You'll Do:
Achieve expert level knowledge in the assigned program area(s).
Monitor and manage assigned programs through field walkdowns, trending, condition evaluation, and implementation of effective preventive and corrective maintenance strategies.
Provide technical support for event investigation, troubleshooting, regulatory correspondence, and design modifications.
Evaluate risks and develop in-depth risk mitigation and elimination strategies.
Ensure compliance with nuclear safety, quality assurance, and radiation protection regulations.
Monitor and review the implementation of NRC regulations, ANSI/ANS standards, and ASME codes.
Control costs through the optimization of resources and tracking expenditures within budget parameters.
Use periodic self-assessments and industry benchmarking to drive continued improvement in program effectiveness.
Participate in industry meetings in addition to reviewing and responding to industry correspondence and guidance as appropriate.
Preferred engineering degrees: Welding, Metallurgical, Materials, Mechanical.
Working knowledge of industry codes including ASME Section III, VIII, IX, XI is desired.
Experience in implementation of welded repairs in a regulated environment is desired.
Experience with nuclear program ownership is preferred, with an emphasis on Welding, ASME Section XI Repair/Replacement and Inservice Inspection.

As a Managed Services Engineer, you will be the primary technical and relationship lead for assigned clients within Managed IT Services. This role combines advanced technical support, a deep understanding of client environments, and proactive service delivery management. Our Managed Services Engineers ensure client satisfaction, drives service excellence, oversee delivery of contracted services, and act as the main escalation point for unresolved technical issues.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide Multi-Client Support:
* Deliver first class technical support for a diverse range of systems and configurations, understanding the unique IT environment of each client and following established service desk practices
* Work closely with clients to identify their needs and ensure client satisfaction
* Perform systems management for on-premises and cloud-based servers, including patch management, system monitoring, proactive and reactive troubleshooting
* Implement, maintain, and support networks, including switches, routers, firewalls, and other network devices
* Provide Tier 2 escalation support for Service Desk and Managed Services incidents, service requests, and changes
* Respond to and troubleshoot network outages, anomalies, issues, and challenges as they arise
* Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution
* Travel to remote sites as needed and on a rotational basis to provide excellent support solutions to business needs (including after hours or as needed)
* Provide on-call support as needed (including after hours on a rotational basis)
* Serve as a mentor and trainer to members of the Service Desk
Manage Incidents: Log, categorize, prioritize, and diagnose incidents. Provide workarounds where necessary and escalate complex issues to the appropriate team.
* Analyze system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems
Conduct Proactive Maintenance: Monitor client systems for potential issues and conduct preventive maintenance to ensure smooth operation and prevent problems before they occur.
* Maintain / support client technology assets including; servers, clients, printers, wireless hardware, and voice/data wiring
* Participate in after-hours maintenance windows
Maintain Communication and Documentation: Serve as the bridge between clients and our MSP, ensuring effective communication of issues, solutions, and updates. Keep accurate records (documentation) of all incidents, problems, and resolutions.
* Assist in developing technical standards and workflows
* Train end-users and prepare training materials on hardware and software use
* Provide guidance and training to clients on new systems, software, and best practices for IT usage.
Uphold Service Level Agreements (SLAs): Ensure that support services meet the defined SLAs, aiming to achieve and maintain high levels of client satisfaction

* 3-5 years of experience working with servers, networks, desktops, laptops, and troubleshooting networked environments
