This role is pivotal in leading mechanical engineering efforts across a large industrial project, ensuring technical excellence, compliance with industry standards, and alignment with client objectives. Responsibilities Engineering Develop mechanical scope documents, specifications, and discipline narratives. Design mechanical systems including piping, HVAC, rotating equipment, and pressure vessels. Administrative Participate in estimating, sales support, and professional development activities. Requirements Education Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (ABET accredited). Experience 10+ years as a mechanical engineer with extensive design and construction support experience. Familiarity with multidiscipline project environments and mechanical system commissioning/startup. Demonstrated experience in electric vehicle (EV) systems and advanced battery technologies, including design, integration, and performance optimization. Experience in creating design drawings, including but not limited to: P&IDs, general arrangements, piping plans, & elevations, isometrics, etc. Experience in manufacturing and industrial construction environment. Experience in industrial construction design. Skills Proficient in AutoCAD, Autodesk Plant 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong knowledge of ASME BPVC, B31 piping codes, and API standards. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems under pressure. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Fluent in Mandarin preferred.
