Let's build together! Key Functions Initiate, prepare, review, develop, track, and distribute submittals and RFIs through Procore. Track file documentation (e.g., correspondence, reports, etc.) in Procore daily to follow-up on and/or summarize project issues, agreements, communications with owners and subcontractors, etc. Reconcile paperwork with the Owner's Field Rep to ensure accurate and proper completion of timesheets. Engage the work crews in conversation on both the technical and safety aspects of the job. Confirm installation is in accordance with specification and/or manufacturers' recommendation. Conduct daily log entries. Ensure progress photos are taken, cut sheets, field drawing marked up, T&E sheets verified/signed (if any), and constructed field measurements are completed daily. Interface with Cost Engineer to track invoices and receipts for field purchase orders and maintain field purchase order files and documentation. Coordinate fabrication and delivery of materials with project CPM, Project Manager, and Superintendent. Interface with Cost Engineer to code and approve PO invoices, coordinating with Accounts Payable and Project Support team. Review and submit quantities to owner for approval. Assist the Project Manager in budget analysis and cost projections. Assist in management of all subcontractors. Gather and submit closeout documentation. Assist Project Manager with projections and costs to complete. Desired Qualifications 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably Civil Engineering. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering preferred. Triumph Engine Control Systems' Electronics Engineering department is looking to fill a position for a FPGA/PLD Electronics Design Engineer in our West Hartford, CT location. Our Design Engineers develop custom solutions for a variety of Electronic Engine Control applications used to perform actuator controls, motor controls, mechanical sensor interfacing, fuel regulation, digital communication, programmable logic design, and input power conditioning, to name a few. Job Description Equipment Engineer needs 1+ years experience Equipment Engineer requires: Solidworks preferred. Working towards a B.S. in Mechanical or Engineering or relevant technical field. Some experience in manufacturing, statistical analysis, and project management desired. Technical aptitude, hands on mechanical aptitude, laboratory skills, understanding technology offerings, teamwork, and good communication skills (both written and oral). Experience with manufacturing processes desired. Equipment Engineer duties: Process projects and provide technical support for equipment product development and project management efforts. Work directly with Product Development Engineers and Specialists in the o Design, development, and testing of new equipment and chemical technologies o Create and manage technical drawing packages o Scoping, evaluation, and integration of digital technologies and services that can be incorporated into equipment process solutions to enhance user experience. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: * Support of NPI projects as they move through the development cycle. The goal is to ensure a smooth transition from R&D to production. Once the product is released, the product engineer is the primary engineering support for the product. Part of the involvement with the NPI process is to come to the level of understanding to provide this later level of support. * Provide guidance to customers on product function and performance. The product engineer also should be able to provide design guidelines to support customer system development. * Be an expert on the optical, mechanical, electrical, thermal and software interfaces that define our laser systems. * Collaborate with a larger team of optical, electronic, software, reliability, applications, marketing and research professionals to tackle cross-functional challenges. * Provide the first level of engineering response to production issues, in collaboration with the manufacturing engineering staff. Provide problem solving support based on knowledge of the various subsystems and the design approach of the system. The product line meeting will be a primary source of these issues and how they will be addressed. * Support product line team as engineering member. Coordinate all product-based engineering activities focused on the given product line. Process-based engineering activities may be performed in collaboration with manufacturing engineering. Must have strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated success working in a team environment. * Identify opportunities and coordinate projects to improve product quality, reduce product cost, and to drive towards a reliable and lean manufacturing flow. * Manage product changes utilizing PDM system (Agile). * Assess impact and coordinate response to material quality issues and material source of supply issues. Education and Experience Desired Qualifications * M.S. degree and > 3 years of design and/or development engineering experience * CO2 laser experience. LabView Programming, and/or Basic CAD experience would all be a plus. Minimum Qualifications * B.S. degree and > 5 years of design and/or development engineering experience Skills * A well-rounded individual with hands-on experience in at least two of the four noted laser systems-related engineering disciplines - optical/laser systems, mechanical, electrical/electronic, controls & software.
