The Heavy Equipment Operator will support Aptim Federal Services Cemetery at Fort Benning by operating heavy equipment such as: Mini- Excavators and Farm Tractors with attachments. The Operator will be expected to use equipment to excavate, load, move dirt or other material in preparation for burial services. The operator must be able to maneuver efficiently and safely through tight areas within the Cemetery. Aside from equipment operation, this position will require daily duties of maintaining the cemetery grounds to include mowing of the lawn, weed eating, headstone maintenance and installation, weed control, vermin control, sod installation, wall maintenance, landscaping, driveway maintenance, grounds maintenance, and any other duties as assigned.
