Performs simple analytical tests such as pH, foreign matter, Ash test, LOD, and Kf. Also be able to use the mobile EHS monitor (Draeger Tube) and obtains samples from batches or containers and submits these samples to supervisor or laboratory computerized log in system.
Keeps other employees aware of changes in the immediate environment (ie. welding, construction, critical process steps.
Immediately informs the Supervisor of deviations in the process and completes deviation forms as required.
Carries out all work as instructed by the Supervisor, assists when investigations have to be conducted, and takes immediate action in case of emergencies.
Disposes of wastes in a correct manner and is responsible for good housekeeping and cleanliness at workstation.
Performs necessary equipment maintenance as needed to support and continue batch processing.
Safely drives and handles fork and hand trucks in the plant.

POSITION PURPOSE The Chemical Operator will monitor and operate equipment and facilities, including field equipment, ensuring quality and conformance with standard operating procedures. PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to):
Start up and shut down (normal and emergency) plant systems and components.

Prepares equipment for maintenance work by isolating, clearing and locking out.

Qualifications
In order to be qualified for this role, the following is required:

Responsibilities
Allan Myers is looking for a dedicated, hard-working equipment operator to join our team of professionals at our quarry! Learn and grow within our company; we promote from within and provide great benefits.
This non-exempt position operates one or more types of heavy construction equipment such as: 980M, 972M, 336 Excavator with bucket and hammer, A-35 haul truck, skid steer and Freightliner water truck. Responsible for safe operation of machines, maintenance, and upkeep of equipment.
Responsibilities:
Performs equipment maintenance duties such as cleaning, greasing and oiling machines.
Adjusts hand levers and depresses pedals to operate equipment and control attachments such as blades, buckets, and swing booms.
Discusses plans for the day's work with field manager and determines best method of getting assigned work done safely, accurately, and on time.
Make judgments regarding the most efficient operations of equipment and attachments.
Compliance with Allan Myers Polices including but not limited to.
Equipment repair / maintenance procedures and Operator Safety Standards
