    Almac Group is currently seeking a Receiving Operator for our Souderton, PA location. The Receiving Operator will be responsible for carrying out all material handling activities required within the receiving area of the warehouse to aid in servicing the Production and Distribution departments. They will be responsible for the receipt of material into the Clinical Services warehouse and ensure that levels of customer service and cGMP compliance are maintained to the highest possible standards. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Unload trucks, segregate and re-stack all incoming components, labels, drug, job related materials, and non-job related materials within the ambient, refrigerated, and frozen areas of the warehouse. Provide regular updates to the Receiving Operator Grade 3, Receiving Supervisor, and Warehouse Manager where appropriate regarding work allocation and project status. Ensure all material is labelled, stored correctly and properly protected against damage or deterioration. All stock must be located properly with storage locations being accurately recorded on the relevant system Assisting other areas within the Warehouse department as deemed necessary by the Receiving Supervisor. Heavy equipment may include haul & water trucks, front-end loaders, telehandler forklifts, skid steers, and excavators; screening, crushing, and material conveying systems; street sweepers; and other heavy equipment. The Heavy Equipment Operator must also clean, inspect, and secure all equipment and perform minor preventative and other maintenance on his/her equipment. **Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):** + Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner according to all relevant local, state, and federal regulations and all company policies and procedures. + Provide guidance and serve as a spotter for trucks arriving and departing from the process operations. + Perform and document daily safety and maintenance checks. + Perform minor preventative and other maintenance. + Maintain clean process operations, ensuring that both work area and equipment remain free from clutter, spills and residues. Responsible for ensuring that work area is clean and organized at the end of the shift. + Cross-train and fill in for operations staff as needed. + Participate in pre-shift and post-shift safety and operational meetings. + Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management. **Basic Required Qualifications: ** + 5+ years of experience in soils screening, soil moving, and soil processing operations + Experience in using a wheel loader, dozer, excavator, skid steer loaders + High school diploma or GED **Preferred Qualifications:** + Mechanical ability + Good work ethic, self-motivated + Ability to deal politely and professionally with coworkers and company visitors + Ability to follow directions or instruction + Ability to use a computer to access training portals **Physical and Mental Demands** + Willing and able to work outdoors in all climate conditions + Ability to work in a busy, often distracting work environment. + Ability to lift-up to 50 pounds unassisted on an occasional basis. + Ability to sit, stand, or for long periods of time.
