Job Title: Production Operator Reports to: Production Supervisor/Production Team Lead Overview of Role: We are looking for a dedicated and quality-focused Production Operator to join our new state-of-the-art factory in Tennessee. This role supports our promotional product decoration operations, which include a wide variety of printing and marking technologies - from laser engraving and silkscreen printing to advanced inkjet and digital decoration techniques. What you will do: Production & Equipment Operation Operate light industrial and digital decoration machinery in line with daily production targets and quality requirements. Perform product setup, calibration, and changeovers efficiently to maintain production flow. Conduct in-process inspections to ensure high-quality output and product consistency. Identify, troubleshoot, and report any equipment or process issues promptly Quality & Safety Follow all quality standards and inspection procedures, ensuring decorated products meet design and customer specifications. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company safety policies. Report defective materials, safety risks, or equipment malfunctions immediately. Support continuous improvement and 5S initiatives across the production floor. Documentation & Materials Management Record production data accurately (performance, downtime, and scrap logs). Verify correct work order codes and materials before production begins. Support efficient material handling, staging, and replenishment to minimize downtime. Collaboration & Teamwork Work closely with other production operators, quality inspectors, and shift supervisors to ensure smooth process flow. Assist with cross-training and support other decoration lines when needed. Actively participate in problem-solving and process-improvement discussions. Position Brand Description: The Lead Operator for API manufacturing operations is directly responsible for the production of API molecules used in Lilly medicines.
