About the role

As a Utility Operator, you will be responsible to perform a variety of operational tasks safely and efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic industrial environment to support Reworld's industrial disposal process. This is a labor-intensive entry-level position with the potential for advancement. We seek a dedicated individual to perform various hands-on tasks required for the upkeep, maintenance, and operation of the plant and its component equipment.
Position Responsibilities:
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
Responsible to ensure equipment is appropriately charged for effective operation, as well as maintain the refuse fuel levels in boiler hoppers and industrial equipment
Mix and level refuse in the industrial pit
Load ash using various types of industrial equipment
Supervise and observe delivery trucks hauling materials to the tipping floor
Safely operate front end loaders to manage refuse and materials delivered to tipping floor for processing
Inspect delivered refuse, waste, and materials, and determine appropriate process for disposal
Monitor and control inbound/outbound traffic for delivery trucks
Additional duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operations
Position Requirements & Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
Must have the ability to work a rotating 12-Hour shift schedule
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Candidate must have good mechanical aptitude.
Related military/technical training and/or previous power or industrial experience is a plus.
Physical Demands of the Role:
Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb
Ability to lift/carry 50lbs
Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces
Qualify to wear a full-face respirator
Consistently work in various weather conditions
Shift:
Rotating 12 hour shifts, days and nights, some weekends, holidays, outages and overtime as needed to ensure a safe and efficient operation.
What Reworld Offers You:
The expected hourly rate for this position is $24.16 - $36.26 per hour. This is a good faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this position. The final figure will take into account a variety of factors including experience, ability, and location. Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and these ranges should not be considered career salary limits or caps.

What You Will Do
Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, graders, rock trucks) to perform mass excavation and site preparation

Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with the loading and unloading of cargo, and mail onto/from aircraft, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure stowage. Operate equipment such as conveyor belts and cargo loaders to facilitate these tasks.
Marshaling and guiding aircraft using hand signals and visual aids to guide aircraft during taxiing, parking, and maneuvering. The Ramp GSE Operator ensures the safe and accurate positioning of the aircraft and GSE on the ramp.
Operate various ground support equipment such as aircraft tugs, pushback tractors, and towing vehicles to move aircraft between areas.
Ensure efficient and careful handling of upload and offload of equipment.
Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment for both personnel and aircraft. Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.
Maintain effective communication with other ramp agents, ground crew, and flight crews to ensure smooth aircraft movement and coordination.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the ramp area, ensuring it is free from debris, foreign object damage, and other hazards.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects, bend, and stand for extended periods.
Good hand-eye coordination and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures and protocols.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate effectively with other ground personnel and flight crews.
Flexibility to work in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and adverse weather situations.
Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as airport operations are 24/7.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug and alcohol testing.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Physical Requirements:
The work requires routine walking, standing, bending, and carrying items weighing less than fifty pounds. Moving items over fifty pounds will be done using team lift. Must meet physical lifting requirements of 50 lbs.

+ Operate and monitor all installed satellite earth terminals, modems, and associated baseband equipment at the SATCOM facility.
+ Operate various encryption devices. Strap, key load, and verification of lock for all installed encryption equipment.
+ Use of various test equipment to include spectrum analyzer and digital communications systems analyzers for testing and isolating faulty trunks, circuits or equipment. Provide update and proper reporting to immediate supervisor of any faulty equipment for upper-level maintenance action. Use various order wire circuits for all required reporting and troubleshooting with distant end users in support of MILSATCOM/Commercial satellite operations control centers.
+ Take initial trouble calls from distant end users and proceed with trouble shooting and testing procedures without excessive guidance. Provide required notification of higher authority and problem escalation on time.
+ Operate all information systems and their associated applications for the control, monitor and configuration of equipment in support of SATCOM operations.
+ Originate all written reports, to include routine 24, After-Action Reports, HAZCON, Detailed Outage Reports and Daily Equipment Status Reports and other reports as required.
