Job Skills / Requirements Individual needed to perform a variety of semi-skilled trades work and operate heavy machinery including trucks, tractors, front-end loaders, etc. Duties include painting, carpentry, concrete work; clearing ditches, catch basins, culverts, storm sewers, and other drainage structures; loading and unloading stone, gravel, dirt, asphalt, limbs, trash, and heavy mechanical equipment; mowing greenways, parks and cleaning grounds; clearing debris and trees after storms; operating and using chainsaws, trimers, and hand tools; and operating snowplows. Individual selected will also plant, water, and assist in the care of shrubs, trees, grass, etc. Position requires graduation from high school or possession of a GED and some related work experience.
