Pay Rate: Starting at $30/hour; Commensurate with experience and licensure; Competitive pay Hours: Full-time; eligible for overtime Primary Activities and Responsibilities: Operate trucks and heavy equipment including, but not limited to, back hoes, skid steers, front-end loaders with forks, and excavators, and railroad equipment (tie inserter, regulator, etc.); on-the-job training will be provided. Work around all types of moving equipment. Perform manual labor as required. Ensure compliance with all railroad rules and regulations for safety, operations, NORAC, Employee Handbook, procedures, and the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA). Perform routine preventative maintenance of equipment. Assist with the troubleshooting of equipment malfunctions. Assist with the development of improved and new field methods and equipment. Other duties as assigned.
