SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
Under minimal supervision, this position is responsible for operation of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment in a GMP environment for the purpose of making clinical supplies and performing development experiments. Incumbent is also responsible for leading manufacturing activities in assigned production rooms.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Train on, comply with, and understand all policy and procedures at Experic including Regulatory, Safety, SOPs, Work Instructions, etc.
Assist in the development of new processes in procedures under the management direction including: Becoming subject matter expert for pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
Adapting understanding of equipment into (write) new SOPs and work instructions and assisting in the training of additional staff on equipment specialty.
Front line troubleshooting of processes and equipment.
Perform Pharmaceutical Manufacturing activities including: Batch Documentation/Record Generation, Materials sampling, staging, dispensing, and return. Pharmaceutical Equipment and Room set-up, operation, and cleaning. Use of appropriate personal safety equipment and engineering controls. In-process inspection and sampling. Use Experic IT Platform.
Perform developmental manufacturing experiments under the direction of management.
Support investigational and quality systems activities.
Assist maintenance in the performance of preventative maintenance activities, troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
Participate in continuous improvement activities at Experic.
Carries out duties in compliance with all federal and state regulations and guidelines.
Complies with all company and site policies and procedures.
Mechanical Aptitude, curiosity to explore complex machinery, and a desire to learn new processes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Requires a bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Scientific Field with one (1) year of experience in Pharmaceutical or Life Science area or a High School Diploma and four (4) years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing with an emphasis on working on the implementation of new equipment and processes.

This job operates in a Manufacturing environment. While performing the duties of this job inside the manufacturing facility, the employee is frequently exposed to normal to moderate working conditions for a manufacturing facility with a noise level that is usually moderate to loud. The role routinely uses printing equipment and machines.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee may be required to stand for long periods of time as well as use hands or fingers to reach or handle, and to reach with hands and arms. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee will regularly lift up to 50lbs or more at a time. All vision abilities are required to encompass close-up work. Employees must be able to tolerate and endure extended seasonal hours and maintain alertness to meet deadlines.
While performing duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to machinery and moving parts, airborne particles including paper dust and hazardous materials or fumes, which may require the use of PPE. Job Description
The Vinyl Cutter Operator responsibilities include:
Perform tasks as directed by the Director of Manufacturing.
Operate and maintain Large Format Vinyl Cutters.
Read and interpret job specifications.
Maintain job logs and maintenance books on equipment.
Assist Print Operators and other equipment operators.
Work with other Operators and Technicians developing fabricating solutions.
Troubleshoot Cutter problems.
Prepare material to be printed.
Organize finished product and prepare for shipping
Operate Laminator.
Hand and machine mount graphics using a wide variety of film on a wide variety of substrate.
Organize substrates and laminates and maintain Vinyl Cutter areas.
Implement all safety procedures regarding tasks and equipment.
Ensure quality control.
Qualifications
Great attention to detail is required in a fast-paced deadline driven environment that emphasizes quality. The position requires the ability to read and execute a variety of job specifications, to operate and maintain Large Format Vinyl Cutters. Must be able to lift 50 lb. This position requires understanding of the Windows Operating System, Mac OSX is a plus. Familiarity with RIP software, especially Onyx Production House and FlexiSign, is necessary. The Vinyl Cutter Operator must be able to match precise material specifications and help find efficient and cost-effective solutions to complex graphics projects. Good math skills are required.
We are looking for a team player with a positive attitude to contribute to all phases of large format graphic production. Experience is necessary, and overtime is required as production demands.

Ensures equipment is maintained according to company standards and customer contracts. Operates company equipment safely. Assists with the maintenance of company equipment and vehicles. Records vehicle information accurately and legibly. Operates digital camera or other basic vehicle documentation and tracking devices. Sets up yard for auctions within company timelines. Provides service to customers as needed. Maintains a positive and professional demeanor. Follows yard guidelines to maintain a safe working environment (i.e. speed limits, etc.).Must be able to load and unload vehicles as required. Must be able to pass training and safety requirements. Required Skills & Experience:
HS diploma or GED preferred.
At least two years of work experience, preferably in an outdoor environment.
