Monitors line-flow rates: Regular checks for proper feed of cases through palletizers for maximum efficiency. Regular checks for proper feed of pallets through wrapper and manifest. Orders material (stretch wrap film) from storage as needed. Monitors palletizer: a. Checks cases for Q.A. standards. b. Adjusts palletizer for different stack patterns. c. Supplies with slip sheets. d. Supplies stretch-wrap with film. e. Insure proper force to load for optimum stretch wrap performance. e. Maintains supply of pallets. (Must be able to operate hyster.) f. Reworks bad cases sent to the hand palletizing station. Monitors line sanitation: a. Keeps floors clean of debris. b. Insures all of packaging is clean and food safe. Ensures proper container sizing. Records packaging machinery efficiencies, downtime and fills out reports accurately and correctly. #CB Performs work as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility. Responsible for the safe, expeditious, and accurate handling of merchandise into and/or out of the laundry facility. * Responsibilities/Essential Functions: Removes orders from the trolley or pulls used merchandise for mending, replacement, and exchange; Pulls badges/emblems and attaches to order form, sorts batches by garment families, sews badges/emblems on garments, and hems pants; Identifies and segregates merchandise not meeting specified quality standards and company grading policy for used garments in terms of rips, tears, holes, ink spots, missing buttons, loose hems, and stains; Accurately counts and sorts merchandise, and sew badges/emblems straight and on the proper garments; Replaces garments on trolley and pushes completed trolley to next station; Maintains safe and clean work environment, and observes best practices in all production activities; Other duties as assigned. * Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to understand all required training, written, and verbal instructions; Working knowledge of basic math skills; Good verbal and written communication skills; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Ability to meet attendance schedule. * Working Environment/Safety Requirements: Work is performed in a warehouse setting and is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, extreme heat, and cold conditions as well as dust and noise. You will use a forklift to stage apple bins and dump them. The Dumper is responsible for dumping raw fruit, concentrate, or other ingredients into the hopper or the dump tanks. The stager will stack fruit bins up to 8 bins high. All drivers must inspect their forklifts and check off their checklist before operating it. Employees must wear a face shield when changing the propane tank from the forklift. Drivers may be asked to perform other job duties.
