Operating a forklift to transport merchandise to designated locations in the warehouse
Accurately tracking inventory utilizing a handheld computer and other necessary technology

Staging finished product in designated storage areas
Loading and unloading merchandise from trailers
Following all safety protocols and procedures set for a forklift operator in the warehouse

ROLE SUMMARY:

Are you looking for part-time supplemental income, working for a fun, growing company this winter? We are seeking Heavy Equipment Operators with snow removal experience for work in the Harrisburg & York area. This is an on-call position. Applicants must have open availability during winter events. This includes weekdays, evenings, weekends, holidays, etc. All of our accounts are 24/7/365 facilities.
Successful applicants will utilize the heavy equipment that they have experience with. These pieces of equipment include but are not limited to skid loaders, backhoes, front end wheel loaders and dump trucks. Candidates report directly to the job site - reliable transportation to the job sites is required.
The primary responsibilities of the position include reporting to the job site on time, driving vehicles to the customer sites, and removing snow safely and efficiently with provided equipment. Work is performed in areas including but not limited to loading areas, docks, sidewalks, and in parking lots. Less than ideal weather conditions are a given - this position involves working outdoors in various winter conditions, including snow, mix of snow/rain, sleet, extreme weather conditions, low temperatures, and more.
Pay is commensurate with experience, $25-$45 per hour. All of our accounts are 24 hr. facilities, which means a lot of hours because we're there from the start of the storm to the completion of the clean-up.
Qualifications
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
• Prior experience driving Heavy Equipment, or Commercial/Company Vehicles is required.
• Ability to work independently and work well with a team
• Tolerance for labor intensive work in extreme weather conditions
• Available for seasonal long hours, a clear schedule to work all hours of the day, any day of the week and a strong work ethic. This position could require potential holiday work
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Are you looking for part-time supplemental income, working for a fun, growing company this winter? We are seeking Heavy Equipment Operators with snow removal experience for work in the Harrisburg & York area. This is an on-call position. Applicants must have open availability during winter events. This includes weekdays, evenings, weekends, holidays, etc. All of our accounts are 24/7/365 facilities.
Successful applicants will utilize the heavy equipment that they have experience with. These pieces of equipment include but are not limited to skid loaders, backhoes, front end wheel loaders and dump trucks. Candidates report directly to the job site - reliable transportation to the job sites is required.
The primary responsibilities of the position include reporting to the job site on time, driving vehicles to the customer sites, and removing snow safely and efficiently with provided equipment. Work is performed in areas including but not limited to loading areas, docks, sidewalks, and in parking lots. Less than ideal weather conditions are a given - this position involves working outdoors in various winter conditions, including snow, mix of snow/rain, sleet, extreme weather conditions, low temperatures, and more.
Pay is commensurate with experience, $25-$45 per hour. All of our accounts are 24 hr. facilities, which means a lot of hours because we're there from the start of the storm to the completion of the clean-up.
Qualifications
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
• Prior experience driving Heavy Equipment, or Commercial/Company Vehicles is required.

Warfel Construction is currently hiring a full-time position as a Heavy Equipment Operator. This position reports directly to the Superintendent, in addition to our Special Projects Manager, and will require strict adherence to all Warfel safety rules and regulations, including any site-specific necessities.
Standard work hours are M - F, beginning at 7:00 AM through 3:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch. Occasional Saturday work and overtime may be required. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
