RESPONSIBILITIES:
Check all equipment used in pulling orders to make sure it is in proper condition.
When picking, special care should be taken to make sure that stickers are placed on all cases and product picked correctly.
Watch labels carefully for quantities, pack sizes and brands. All labels for out-of-stock merchandise must be turned in still attached to label sheets.
When pulling merchandise, handle it with care, stack product so as to avoid damage.
A safe and sanitary work environment should be maintained at all times during the selection shift.
All selected product should be staged at the proper dock door for loading.
When finished picking, make sure equipment is in the proper place and plugged up.
A clean-up of assigned areas of the warehouse is required at the end of the shift.
