Explains the relative priority of items needed to meet production schedules during initial contacts with supervision: when desired results cannot be obtained, refers job to higher graded employees for additional actions.
Secures information of a routine nature necessary for efficient follow-up operations, such as checking with supervision to ensure that job orders are executed, ensuring that material and tool write-ups are available, and acquiring delivery promise dates on procurement items and subcontracted jobs. Submits acquired information to higher graded employees for interpretation and use in the preparation and maintenance of status reports.
STOCKROOM
Inputs all transactions affecting inventory status of assigned areas into the appropriate computerized inventory control systems: including, but not limited to, the MRP system(s), Tracker system, carousel system, barcode system, and shop floor control system.
Performs the physical movement and handling of material parts, kits in order to execute the receipt, control, kit pick and issue functions.
Responsible for the compliance requirements unique to individual stockrooms: including, but not limited to, ESD, hazardous material, time & temperature sensitive materials, CFM, CFM Controls, and clean room environment. Performs periodic self-audits and inventory reconciliation to ensure inventory accuracy. Supports the efforts of an independent inventory audit function as requested.
Review and maintain program kitting schedules, aligns daily work assignments in accordance with kitting schedule and manufacturing need dates. Must assist Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, Production Control and Quality as needed to resolve any inventory discrepancies, stock sweeps, or MRB material. Works with Receiving Dock to deliver materials classified as line stoppers to manufacturing floor. Fulfills shortages from backfill reports to manufacturing floor in a timely manner. Releases kits to prescribed manufacturing organizations according to the predetermined release schedule. Perform physical movement and handling of material parts and kits. Process all system transactions necessary, to maintain an accurate inventory balance.
RECEIVING DOCK
Unloads all types of incoming material from freight cars, trucks, and other carriers. Checks incoming materials for visible signs of damage (filling out appropriate damage reports as required). Checks packing slip/BOL to ensure receipt of all listed material and signs for delivery receipt. Unpack material and look for visible signs of damage, notify buyers for any discrepancies on part quantity, parts showing as 'Early In' or improper documentation.
Unpacks material (utilizing standard hand tools as required) and transports packages/deliveries to proper designated location(s). Generates duplicate copies of paperwork when Parts are not received in as Full Release and when Parts fall under FAA guidelines to log upon receipt and provides duplicated paperwork to appropriate parties. Maintains original paperwork with copies of Receipt label(s) with all other paperwork and/or documentation of daily transactions.
Inputs all transactions affecting the material receipt record into the appropriate computerized material control system(s), including, but not limited to all ERP Systems used by the company that are used for procurement, quality, inventory, warehousing, and transportation.
Responsible for the compliance to the requirements of ESD, hazardous materials, time & temperature sensitive materials, CFM/CFM controls, etc.
FREEZER
Must be able to identify material by code, color, and LOT number using ERP system and labeling systems. Maintain ERP system by updating performing systemic transactions when physical movement of material is moved into WIP. Catalog movements in hard copy formats. Move, transport and record fulfillment orders for SLED materials to the production floor and labs upon request. Affix batch labels and kit stickers to MPPs supplied by CADCUT. Stock consumables needed for production, communicate stock outs and last part issued to management for order fulfillment. Calculate appropriate hours from usable OT per RI for CADCUT kits. Lift and carry up to 70lbs assisted repeatedly.
TOOL CRIB
Maintains records of all contract tools, general purpose tools and special tools and equipment stored in tool cribs showing receipt, location, and disbursement utilizing mechanized system. Delivers or issues production tools stored in tool crib when necessary. Removes canceled tools and disposes as directed.
Coordinate and schedule all "tool crib" stored tools requiring periodic with the using manufacturing departments supervision, floor expeditor and tooling department before tool date due. Priority given to the past due tools. Maintain all tool transactions, receiving, departing, and inventories in the Protocol system on a daily basis.
Visually checks all returned tools and equipment to ensure that tools are in good condition. If necessary, forwards tools not suitable for reissue to appropriate area for corrective action.
Applies preservatives such a stripcote, cosmoline, hot oils and similar materials to tools and equipment as required.
Maintains computerized data base indicating status, tool usage and tool consumption and reorders tools as required.
Checks out all terminated or transferred employees to make certain that all contract and standard charges are cleared. Conducts final inspection of terminated employees' toolboxes to see that all Company tools have been returned and seals boxes.
Responsible for the security, housekeeping, and space utilization within assigned areas.
