This role is a full-time, Monday through Friday position, with no nights or weekends! In this role, you'll handle a variety of materials, including frames, doors, and hardware, prepping them for shipment and loading them onto LaForce trucks or other carriers. You'll use forklifts and other dock equipment to move products efficiently, ensuring everything is loaded and unloaded with care. This position is physically demanding as you will spend roughly 60% of your time on the forklift, and 40% of your time on your feet. As a Material Handler, you'll also manage incoming deliveries, store materials in designated areas, and keep accurate records in our warehouse scanning system. Every day brings new challenges, and your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help keep our operations running smoothly. What You'll Bring to the Team: We're looking for someone who is willing to jump right in - ideally, with a high school diploma or GED, and some experience in material handling. You should feel comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds, standing and moving frequently throughout your shift, and operating warehouse equipment safely. A driver's license is preferred, and you'll need to pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
