Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for picking, packing, and all physical & system material movements which support the warehouse activities. These activities include, but are not limited to, FIFO inventory movements, processing shipments, locating inbound materials, cycle counting and all system corresponding transactions. All activities supports annual targets in line with business Order fill, Case fill, Inventory accuracy, Gross Sales Volume and Manufacturing production requirements. Material Handlers will also be accountable for the accuracy of material financial system integrity
Responsibilities
Maintains safe, clean and orderly work environment at all times
Loads materials onto vehicles, installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent damage while in transit
Safely moves, loads, and unloads product to and from pallet racks with MHE above or below ground
Reads orders and/or follows oral instructions to meet scheduled activities as directed
Receive materials and verify materials against packing lists to ensure the accuracy of the delivery
Works effectively in a team environment and demonstrates flexibility in all assigned tasks
Communicates effectively, reads and interprets documents such as safety rules, operating policies, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
Wears personal protective Equipment as required for the job
Operates and drives gasoline-, liquefied gas-, or electric-powered industrial trucks equipped with lifting devices, such as forklift, boom, scoop, lift beam and swivel-hook, fork-grapple, clamps, elevating platform, or trailer hitch, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or locate, relocate, and stack products, equipment, or materials in warehouse or storage locations

Ability to perform routine functions of most of the various equipment & systems (fax, scanner, metering, stamping, tracking systems, photocopying, color copying, etc.)
Basic knowledge of equipment
Excellent customer service, professional attitude and appearance are a must
Ability to work overtime & meet deadlines
Physical Demands
Must be capable of standing and/or walking for extended periods (at least 2 hours straight, 4 times per an 8-hour day). Must be able to bend, twist, stoop, crouch, squat and reach above shoulder level on a frequent basis

The Waste Study Sorter is responsible for ensuring proper sorting and placement and sorting of materials from bagged waste into separate containers. This work is similar to duties and responsibilities associated with commercial janitorial work and involves opening waste bags to sort the items found inside.
Responsibilities:
Stand at an outside area workstation sorting items from waste bags and place them into designated bins for the study for a period of 2-4 hours.
Quickly identify items and safely remove them to bins.
General cleanup at the end of each shift.
Qualifications:
Familiarity with the use of basic Personal Protective Equipment like a hard hat, reflective vest, boots, ear and eye protection, utility gloves, and arm preferred.

Operate a sit-down propane forklift safely & effectively.
Able to keep up, taking product off the out-feed line, staging it neatly on the floor and picking it up and loading it neatly and securely in a trailer.
Scan all units to trailer.
Able to follow proper procedures for staging units, loading units, handling overruns
Read and understand the order instructions and load tags. Must understand unitizing and palletizing information & corrugator flutes so product can be loaded properly per customer specific instructions.
Able to do basic math, to know trailer size and to read a tape measure to utilize trailers to max MSF per truck.
Understand shipment planning, documentation, & the importance of only having one Partial order on a truck.
Ability to organize the dock to eliminate units from small orders being mixed with large orders not being loaded. To ensure all scrap is picked up and weighed, particle units are banded, and the knowledge of loading scrap bales in proper trucks.
Raisings and lowering of dock plates, safeguarding with chain for dock doors, and to report any damage.
Be proficient in using chocks, glad hand locks, and lock out when straight trucks are being used.
To follow all safety rules and to be able to do forklift inspections. All and any defects found must be reported immediately.
Must be able to work as a team and ability to get along and have a good working relationship with other employees.
Comprehend instructions given by supervisors.
Take responsibility for communicating with other shift employees how job is running, problems, adjustments, etc.

We are looking for a Die Handler that will transport dies between storage and use, load dies onto forging press, maintain die storage, and performs other general labor as required including die setups. Job Requirements: Maintain a safe work environment.
Drive and operate a forklift.
Operate Overhead Crane
Transport dies between storage and presses.
Clean and grease dies.
Review schedule and Plan daily work agenda
Operate a sandblast booth and a steam clean machine
Preassemble / disassemble tooling set-ups as required to specified procedures
Able to use a sledge hammer as part of assembly disassembly.
Load and unload dies from Car bottom furnaces
Assist in die set-ups at the press.
Return dies to correct locations in die storage.
Maintain computerized die inventory and perform audits.
Maintain die storage.
Assure quality and production requirements are met.
Participate in total quality management projects to achieve continuous improvement.
Participate in LEAN manufacturing and SPC activities as required.
Participate in departments 5s program.
Maintain an acceptable attendance record.
Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Takes strong ownership of work in progress and communicates with co-workers, Leads, Supervisors and Managers (as needed)
Comply with all APP, Inc. safety rules and company policies
Demonstrates a firm commitment to achieving APP's Key Results
Report any equipment or facility defect(s) to Lead / Supervisor / Manager.
Ensure any accident or injury is promptly reported per APP's safety policy.
Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by the department manager.
Skill Requirements:
Completed High School.
Must be a certified forklift operator.
Previous forging experience is preferred, but not required.
3 months related manufacturing/production experience.
Able to read and understand instructions.
Blue print knowledge (a plus)
