The Environmental Compliance Manager (ECM) is responsible for ensuring comprehensive environmental compliance across all California facilities operated by PTS. This role involves developing and implementing compliance strategies, conducting facility inspections, managing regulatory relationships, and producing detailed annual compliance reports to meet legal requirements. This role will also serve to increase environmental compliance awareness and visibility and reduce the organization's environmental liabilities. Optimal candidates will have extensive knowledge of California environmental regulations including federal, state, and local levels. Qualifications * Associate degree or equivalent from Automotive Technology * At least three (3) years of automotive experience (or equivalent) * A minimum of 4 ASEs * Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. * Fully proficient in mathematical principles and application (adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying and percentages) * Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles; determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it. * Strong ability to coordinate activities with other employees. * Good attention to detail, and ability to read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language. * Must have a valid California driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record. As a Penske Collision Repair Appraiser you are responsible for writing collision repair estimates. Major Responsibilities: * Superior customer relation skills * Strong communication and people management skills * Working knowledge of body shop maintenance operations. * Completing repair estimates in Adjustrite system-downloading into Summit. * Communicate with both internal and external customers. * Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor Qualifications: * At least 3 years of body shop estimating experience required * Estimator Certification required * High School Diploma or equivalent required * Vocational/technical school preferred * Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook required * Strong written/oral communication, problem solving, and decision making skills are required * The associate will be required to understand and comply with specific instructions, guidelines, rules, regulations, or other information established by Penske management * The associate must be able to perform all work adhering to DOT, OSHA, and all Penske safety and maintenance policies; including but not limited to the correct selection and use of appropriate tools, PPE, machine guarding, and established best safety practice. * Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job * Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
