RESPONSIBILITIES
The Certified Personal Trainer will be responsible for providing one-on-one and couples personalized fitness instruction in person to clients at their home, apartment gym or outside while encouraging them to reach their fitness goals. Responsibilities are as follows:
Customize client workout programs developed from the Initial Assessment
Utilize the Svetness Fitness App for all client sessions, including programming & session notes
Demonstrate each exercise and ensure client is performing correctly with or without modifications
Conduct client Reassessments every 4-6 weeks
Maintain client session appointments through Svetness scheduling software
Able to provide a flexible schedule to accommodate client appointments
Able to commute to and from client sessions up to 45 minutes
QUALIFICATIONS
Certified Personal Trainer: Accredited by NCCA, DEAC, or NBFE.
CPR/AED Certification: Ensure clients' safety with up-to-date CPR/AED training.
Education and experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent and 1-3 years of personal training experience.
Strong communication skills: Effectively communicate verbally, in writing, and technically.
Knowledgeable in nutrition: Possess a basic understanding of nutrition and healthy living practices.
Fitness expertise: Familiarity with a variety of exercise equipment and personal training methods.
Physical ability: Capable of lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs. and performing athletic calisthenics duties.
Requirements for this position include the possession of personal basic training equipment to effectively assist clients in achieving their goals. It is important to note that clients may not always have access to the necessary equipment.

Member Experience:
Demonstrate the proper and safe use of strength training and cardiovascular equipment

The University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College in North Little Rock, Arkansas, is accepting applications for a full-time instructor position to teach the Professional Skills Training (formerly known as non-credit) Future Fit Program through UA-PTC's Second Chance Opportunity Program. This position is a visiting instructor, grant funded position and will be housed at a local detention center. The position will be funded for the duration of the grant ending June 2026. If the grant is extended, the position will be extended.
The available 12-month position will effectively complete the daily tasks listed below.
Daily tasks may include but not limited to:
* Teach the Future Fit program in a detention center through UA-PTC's Second Chance Program. The scheduled hours will be 7:00 am - 5:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. Some Friday sessions may be required for scheduled meetings. The first cohort will be scheduled 8:00 am - 12:00 pm and the second cohort will be scheduled 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
* Teach basic mathematics
* Facilitate the WorkKeys curriculum in a face-to-face format; the curriculum is web-based
* Administer the WorkKeys assessment
* Facilitate the Tooling U curriculum in a face-to-face format; the curriculum is web-based
* Administer skill check offs in a one-on-one format with each student utilizing the Amatrol Skill Boss training equipment.

Summary of Job Duties:The University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College in North Little Rock, Arkansas, is accepting applications for a full-time instructor position to teach the Professional Skills Training (formerly known as non-credit) Future Fit Program through UA-PTC's Second Chance Opportunity Program. This position is a visiting instructor, grant funded position and will be housed at a local detention center. The position will be funded for the duration of the grant ending June 2026. If the grant is extended, the position will be extended.
The available 12-month position will effectively complete the daily tasks listed below.
Daily tasks may include but not limited to:
• Teach the Future Fit program in a detention center through UA-PTC's Second Chance Program. The scheduled hours will be 7:00 am - 5:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. Some Friday sessions may be required for scheduled meetings. The first cohort will be scheduled 8:00 am - 12:00 pm and the second cohort will be scheduled 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
• Teach basic mathematics
• Facilitate the WorkKeys curriculum in a face-to-face format; the curriculum is web-based
• Administer the WorkKeys assessment
• Facilitate the Tooling U curriculum in a face-to-face format; the curriculum is web-based
• Administer skill check offs in a one-on-one format with each student utilizing the Amatrol Skill Boss training equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Certified Personal Trainer will be responsible for providing one-on-one and couples personalized fitness instruction in person to clients at their home, apartment gym or outside while encouraging them to reach their fitness goals. Responsibilities are as follows:
Customize client workout programs developed from the Initial Assessment
Utilize the Svetness Fitness App for all client sessions, including programming & session notes
Demonstrate each exercise and ensure client is performing correctly with or without modifications
Conduct client Reassessments every 4-6 weeks

QUALIFICATIONS
Certified Personal Trainer: Accredited by NCCA, DEAC, or NBFE.
CPR/AED Certification: Ensure clients' safety with up-to-date CPR/AED training.
Education and experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent and 1-3 years of personal training experience.
Strong communication skills: Effectively communicate verbally, in writing, and technically.
Knowledgeable in nutrition: Possess a basic understanding of nutrition and healthy living practices.
Fitness expertise: Familiarity with a variety of exercise equipment and personal training methods.
Physical ability: Capable of lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs. and performing athletic calisthenics duties.
Requirements for this position include the possession of personal basic training equipment to effectively assist clients in achieving their goals. It is important to note that clients may not always have access to the necessary equipment.

Responsible for providing a safe and effective exercise environment for club Members/Guests through exercise programs, education of the Members/Guests in exercise and a focus on establishing a personalized program of exercise for each Member/Guest. Also responsible for promoting the facility and the club, while providing excellent service to the Members and guests of the club.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED
One year's experience of Gym/fitness experience required.
Certification from national organization such as ACSM, ACE, NASM, etc. preferred.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Excellent customer service ability.
Knowledge of basic fitness techniques and practices, and a willingness to
learn new things.
Friendly, outgoing personality.
Ability to function well in a fast-paced, team environment.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Leading group and one-on-one classes.
Promote the facility amenities, programs and the Club while maintaining a high level of professionalism and service that aligns with the values, philosophies, and standards of the club.
Providing clients with excellent fitness and health instruction.
Listening to Member needs and making them reality.
Working as a member of a high-quality fitness team.
Notify supervisor of Member/Guest complaints at the time they occur. Rectify, practicing service recover, any complaints as soon as possible.
Adhere to all the various company, club and department written standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos, oral instructions, etc., all of which go to make up the essential functions of the job.
