Basic Qualifications
BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.

The ideal candidate for this position will be an exceptionally talented, knowledgeable, and motivated pharmacy leader with extensive experience with health-system pharmacy operations, clinical pharmacy practice, investigational drug management, and regulatory compliance as well as knowledge of USP , USP and USP standards, cGMP regulations, and ICH/GCP requirements. As a Supervisory Pharmacist working in the Clinical Pharmacy & Investigational Drug Research (CPIDRS) Section with the Pharmacy Department, your major duties will include but are not limited to:
* Establishing plans and initiatives to support and achieve the strategic direction, goals and objectives of the Department and ensuring optimum economic performance.
* Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating unique and complex programs associated with clinical pharmacy and investigational drug services.
* Coordinating with Clinicians and Nurses to develop patient care initiatives in the context of clinical trials and research methodologies, protocol design, and trial implementation.
* Developing integration programs that focus on patient directed health care and shared decision making.
* Providing leadership regarding planning, purchasing, implementing and maintaining information systems that include systems that support patient safety and care and efficient processing and that facilitate efficient and effective work such as electronic health records, computerized provider order entry, clinical decision support (CDS), automated medication reconciliation.
* Reviewing and approving short and long range strategic plans developed by subordinate supervisors for workforce supervision and development to assure the availability of an engaged highly specialized and high performing staff.

Education:

Specialized Experience:
