Position Overview
Ensure appropriate dosing and verify compounded medications while upholding quality control and compliance according to Strive Pharmacy Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Key Responsibilities
Join the forefront of healthcare excellence, where you'll be:
Checking entered prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
Performing calculations to ensure ingredients within a formula are measured and utilized properly
Visually checking lots compounded in sterile and non-sterile labs
Visually checking individual prescriptions to ensure color, consistency, and general appearance
Answering and making clarification phone calls dedicated for pharmacists
Counseling patients
Offering guidance to providers regarding appropriate therapy and dosing for optimal individualized care
Required Qualifications
Minimum of Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Degree
Active AZPharmacist license
Desired Skills
Experience in compounding
Understanding of aseptic technique
Familiar with USP guidelines
