    Full-time Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: CMM programmer programs and operates a coordinate measuring machine, which determines an object's dimensions and other qualities to ensure they match those shown on blueprints plans. Responsible for the programming of the CMM. Development of inspection methods for dimensional layouts and Process Capability Studies. Develop inspection methods and set-ups. Responsible for the use of all laboratory and measurement equipment. Assists in completion of PPAP and Approval Packets. Supports all measuring requirements for the plant including the calibration of tools. Assists in training employees with new and current quality testing equipment. Communicates as needed with internal and external customers regarding dimensional methods. Provides technical support to the Engineering Department on all prototype parts and fixture designs.
