Under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP) we provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.

Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, inclusive of Behavioral Health.
Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member's medical record using a proprietary system.
Requirements

Active PA license in the state
CPR/BLS Certification
Experience with Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health - preferred
Experience with mobile medical services - preferred
Knowledge of Military systems, protocols, and terminology - preferred

Full-time Description
Barrett Hospital & HealthCare is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine PhysicianAssistant to join our team of providers. An integral part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team, the full-time PhysicianAssistant will provide 10 shifts of coverage per month, on a rotating schedule, generally overnight coverage. In this position, the PhysicianAssistant will be the sole provider during each shift, with consulting support from the Emergency Medicine Medical Director.
Schedule: Full-Time, 3x12, 10 shfts/month, Nights some variable
Minimum Qualifications:
Successful completion of an accredited PhysicianAssistant or Nurse Practitioner Program.
Montana license and DEA preferred, or ability to obtain licensure.
A minimum of 2,000 supervised Emergency Department practice hours within the past 24 months is required.
Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience required.
Self-directed and motivated professional with a willingness to work on a well-seasoned, experienced team to achieve quality patient care and outcome goals.
Highly efficient in a busy environment, with high-acuity needs.
Strong interpersonal communication & collaborative skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Provide PhysicianAssistant Medical Services, both independently and as a member of a healthcare team, to a population of financially disadvantaged youth ranging from 16 to 24 years of age at the Trapper Creek Job Corps Center.

DUTIES
Provide comprehensive assessments, physical and basic exams, initial comprehensive medical and psychosocial screenings, mental health evaluations, and risk evaluations.
Manage uncomplicated, acute, and stable chronic health problems.
AssistPhysicians and other providers as needed. Work collaboratively with Physicians.
Administer medications.
Establish specialty medical referral systems.
Issue prescriptions and immunizations.
Monitor health conditions.
Recommend hospitalizations as appropriate.
Conduct follow-up care.
Prevention planning and intervention.
Early identification and diagnosis.
Provide basic medical care.
Medical promotion, prevention, and education.
Collaborate with Substance Abuse Counselors and Center Mental Health Counselors to prescribe medications, schedule II medications, and discuss long-term medication management.
Advise and assist the health education instructor in the development and implementation of the Medical Health Education Program.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Must
have an active unencumbered/unrestricted PhysicianAssistant's license to practice independently in Montana.
Must
have the authority to prescribe Schedule II controlled substances (DEA CERTIFICATION).
Must
have graduated from a program that is accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician's Assistant (ARC-PA).
Must
have passed the PhysicianAssistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE)

Benefis Health System, a large level II trauma center, is recruiting a new physician to join our Urology team in Great Falls, Montana, servicing a population of 275,000 patients across Northcentral Montana.Position Information:- Urology has 3.5 full time physicians (2 employed, 1.5 locum) offering sought after, efficient, safe patient care with a team of dedicated highly productive clinical office staff including a dedicated procedure nurse, surgery schedulers, and a clinical RN manager.- Wide range of general bread and butter urology with opportunity to incorporate various specialized interests based on your desires (pediatrics, endourology, reconstructive urology, female urology with an emphasis on pelvic floor disorders, infertility, and oncology)- Outpatient procedures are performed in our 2 large procedure rooms within clinic and inpatient surgical procedures are performed in our 10 main operating rooms, located within a 5-minute walk from the clinic (accessible via an enclosed skyway). We have two DaVinci Xi's, many well-trained Robotic first-assistants and a dedicated Cysto Suite.- Urologists collaborate with oncologists and radiation oncologists at our regional cancer center and participate in a monthly multidisciplinary Tumor Board. We have a strong internal referral base from over 340 Benefis Medical Group providers, and additional support and referral patterns from local and regional providers.Work Hours and Call Coverage:- Flexible schedule, general outpatient clinic hours M-F 8:00-5:00- Call Schedule: 1:4, typically 1 weekday per week, 1 weekend per month.
