Attention all PhysicianAssistants, we are calling you to partner with us as independent contractors providing services to our Military Service members. We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of Montana on an "as needed basis".
Under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP) we provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:
U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
Army National Guard (ARNG)
U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
Air National Guard (ANG)
U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)
Responsibilities:
Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, inclusive of Behavioral Health.
Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member's medical record using a proprietary system.
Requirements
Supervising Physician may required depending on the state requirement
Active PA license in the state
CPR/BLS Certification
Experience with Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health - preferred
Experience with mobile medical services - preferred
Knowledge of Military systems, protocols, and terminology - preferred
Adaptable to fast paced environments, with large volumes of service members seen daily
Able to work extended hours
Able to work in various locations, including remote military installations
Able to travel, with weekend availability - preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Basic computer knowledge and skills
Not Required - Diagnose, treat, or prescribe medications

As a PhysicianAssistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in our Walk-In Care clinics, you'll work collaboratively with a team of Walk-In Care providers, to provide top-notch care and patient experience. Throughout the day you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with your fellow Walk-in care providers at other locations, 1-2 collaborative physicians, and support staff during your shift.
You would practice at our Broadwater location but could also cover at our other Walk-In Care locations.
The Walk-In Clinic is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
You will work in a busy practice that has supportive colleagues, consulting physicians, and nursing staff.
You'll be apart of an newer practice that is continuing to grow.
You'll have excellent mentorship from your supervising/collaborative physician.

An active PhysicianAssistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) License by the MT State Board.
Prescriptive Authority by the MT state board of Nursing or Medical Examiners and DEA License.
At least 3 years of walk-in care / urgent care experience preferred.
Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
ACLS Certification within 6 months of employment (site specific).

Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to successfully function in a fast paced, service oriented environment.
