What will you do? Make an impact!
As a Sludge Processor with Aaron Oil you will load, unload and process all streams that enter the pit area. You will be responsible for controlling flow of incoming and outgoing materials and using plant equipment.
Key Job Responsibilities
* Follow all regulations, standards, and internal policies, to ensure Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance and promote a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
* Sample, load, and unload all incoming and outgoing trucks assigned to the pit process area including vacuum trucks, tanker trailers, roll off material, bulk loads, etc.
* Review and manage inventories and complete all paperwork required by production.
* Always maintain clean work area to ensure plantoperations and the facility are always prepared for environmental inspections/audits.
* Clean storage tanks as directed as well as other duties, tasks and projects as assigned by the Plant Manager and/or supervisor.
* Keep Manager up to date on maintenance and repair of equipment and any machine parts or supplies that are needed.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

Summary
Greenbush Logistics is seeking to hire a Plant mechanic. The Plant mechanic will perform preventative maintenance, routine and non-routine repairs, and troubleshoot problems with machinery. Responsible for maintenance, repair, installation, and modification of all sawmill equipment to safely maximize uptime, quality, and productivity. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefits package.
Essential Duties:
Will perform inspection, services, and adjustments in routine daily maintenance on vehicles including lubricating, cleaning parts, and maintaining tractor/trailers/forklifts.
Replace defective parts of machine or adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts.
Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, plumb bobs, and lasers.
Repair and lubricate machines and equipment.
Assemble and install equipment using hand tools and power tools.
Move equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
Replace defective parts of a machine or adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts.
Position steel beams to support bedplates of machines and equipment
Insert shims, adjust the tension on nuts and bolts, or position parts using hand tools and measuring instruments, to set specified clearances between moving and stationary parts.
Lay out mounting holes using measuring instruments, and drill holes with a power drill.
Dismantle machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools.
Replace sprockets, pumps, machine centers, chains, sheaves, and belts with proper alignment.

Physical Demands:
Stands, turns, bends, stoops, lifts, climbs, and uses many physical motions in performing day-to-day activities. Work requires moderate to high amount of physical agility and strength, including but not limited to: ascending/descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, etc.; positioning self to complete a task (stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching); moving about to accomplish tasks (may be for long distances or moving from one work site to another); pushing; pulling; lifting 50 pounds without assistance; grasping; and using repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and do a great deal of walking without experiencing undue fatigue. May be exposed to communicable disease or radiation.
Work involves being able to perceive the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels, with or without correction. Must demonstrate the ability to communicate, speak, and enunciate to express/exchange ideas and detailed information in person and on the telephone.

Work is subject to environmental conditions that occur inside and outside the facility; to noise and hazards (including a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, or exposure to chemicals); and to atmospheric conditions (including those that affect the respiratory system: fumes, odors, and dust, etc.).

Must demonstrate keen mental faculties/assessment and decision making abilities. Must demonstrate superior communication/speaking/enunciation skills to receive and give information in person and by telephone. Must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills. Must possess emotional stability conducive to dealing with high stress levels. Must demonstrate ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in complex situations is required.
Special Demands:

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Physically meet the needs of the job to include, climbing stairs, wearing respiratory protection, and safely lifting at least 70 pounds
Strong oral and written communication skills
Works well both independently and as part of a team
Required to be prompt, dependable, and maintain a good attendance record
Participation in the monthly Safety blood draw program is required
This position involves working 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends, based on operational needs
Participation in the respiratory program, which involves being clean-shaven and wearing a respirator for safety
