RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitors and operates the jail radio systems and observes video monitors and communicates on the intercom with inmate housing areas. Monitors inmate activities in housing cells and in the cell blocks, hallways, and every portion of the Jail, and ensures jail rules and regulations are enforced and inmates are in compliance. Maintains constant observation on suicide risk inmates/prisoners and other known inmate behavioral problems. Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, moving heavy materials up to 50 lbs., climbing, crawling as well as walking on uneven ground, working long hours in all weather conditions.
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Experience/Skills Requirements
Experience or training relevant to drilling/sampling and/or heavy equipment operations/mechanics is an asset.
Must have a clean driving record.
Must have a commercial driver license (Class A CDL or Class B CDL acceptable) or be willing to obtain within 3 months.
Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is an asset.
Electrical and mechanical skills are an asset, but not required.
Various industry trainings are an asset, but will be provided as needed for the role (MSHA, OSHA, HAZWOPER, etc).
Soft Skill Requirements
Must possess strong work ethic and represent the company in a professional manner.
Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Must be responsible and work well independently or in a team setting with minimal supervision.

Summary:
The Utility associate is responsible for various services to include but not limited to cleaning equipment, floors, workstations, utensils, pots and pans using specific chemicals to ensure sanitary standards; checking ice levels, keg beers, bib sodas and Co2 containers and replace if necessary; loading and unloading supply trucks; performing all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by management. This is a non-exempt position.
Essential Functions:
* Cleans equipment which may include work tables, refrigerators, meat blocks and other equipment
* Cleans utensils, pots and pans by washing them by hand or place them in a dishwashing machine
* Returns clean utensils, pots and pans to their proper places
* Removes trash and garbage to designated areas
* Sweeps, mops, scrubs and buffs floors using heavy equipment
* Cleans walls, windows and steam cleans trashcans
* Stocks, dates, rotates and checks temperature of product Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or hand truck
