Play a vital role in maintaining security at the Chatham County Detention Center! We are seeking Control Room Operators to monitor activity, dispatch calls, and ensure the safety of the facility. * Maintain the security and integrity of the complex by not permitting unauthorized personnel access. * Use a high concentration level as you focus on various video feeds for long periods to maintain constant awareness of any irregularities in the jail. * Monitor entrance and exit doors and admit authorized persons access to the Chatham County Sheriff's Office, operate the controls for the main security slider for outside admittance/exit past the guard line, and control the interior slider doors and guard line access. * Secure all jail keys and maintain the log of personnel accessing keys. * Operate various equipment, multi-channel radios, and camera monitoring systems. * Use written communication skills in preparing and maintaining various records, logs, and reports. * Use customer service and interpersonal skills as you answer and respond to incoming phone calls and maintain effective working relationships with staff, other county employees, and the public. * This position requires the ability and availability to work 24/7 shift work, including split shifts and weekends. * Perform other duties as assigned. * High School Diploma or GED, and * At least two (2) years of security or dispatching-related experience; or * Any equivalent combination of training and experience.

Role Overview: We are currently hiring a Wastewater Operator at our Garden City, GA location. The Wastewater Operator is responsible for keeping the facility in compliance with the discharge permit and assisting the Facility Manager with residual management and chemical inventory. Address: 45 Sonny Perdue Drive, Garden City, GA. 31408 Shift: 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday Pay: $26.00+ per hour - pending experience and certifications. (Must have state Wastewater Operator license pending state requirements) Position Responsibilities: Maintain Hazard Communication compliance in tank wash and treatment areas. Treat water daily to ensure adequate capacity for tank wash and customer water. Keep treatment area clean and neat at all times and monitor sludge accumulation in all storage tanks. Maintain accurate manifests files on all customers and work with Customer Service Coordinator to ensure the bill is accurate. Monitors what is running through wastewater and pinpoints problems through the waste program. Ensure compliance by meeting permit requirements and complying with all city, state, and federal regulations. Handle hazardous waste to include storage and manifests as required Maintain annual RCRA training requirements Perform other duties as assigned.
