The Chemical Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of plant processes and equipment. ROLES AND RESPONSIBITIES:
Responsible for the manufacture of Aluminum Sulfate and/or Sodium Aluminate and the maintenance of applicable machinery, storage tanks, and process capabilities which govern the entire operation.
Responsible for initiation and documentation of all technical information which may directly or indirectly relate to the process operation which includes, batch ticket, laboratory analysis of raw materials, SQA data and specifications of shipping strength and titration of Aluminum Sulfate & Sodium Aluminate.
Overseeing the safe and efficient operation of the process or processes assigned, including the safe transfer of hazardous chemicals.
Apply all plant safety rules, work guidelines / practices, and procedures
Abide by all signage at the facility in regards to PPE and processes.
Wearing and maintenance of personal protective equipment required for working with hazardous chemicals
Developing and applying improvements in processes, equipment and procedures
Daily Responsibilities:
Complete walk-thru of the process and equipment to audit safety and housekeeping
Maintain 5S Excellence standards in work areas
Perform quality assurance checks for manufactured products
Adjust formulations to ensure finished products meet specifications
Assist in loading trailers with finished products
Unload raw materials as needed
Complete Certificates of Analysis for loaded trailers
Complete all paperwork accurately and completely including batch sheets, run sheets, shift reports, LOTO tags, and truck loading sheets.
Start-up and completion of any special duties or tasks that may arise during the operation as required by Shift Lead or Plant Manager.
Maintain and communicate PVD Board information with the other shifts
Maintenance
Inspect plant equipment daily and report any issues to Supervisor
Operator is required to move pumps around in position for repairs and clean area prior to repairs.
Operator is required to connect hoses to tanks for washing, open/close valves around pumps and lines as required, and start / stop pumps.
Responsible for correct Lock Out / Tag Out on necessary equipment.
Must be able to work overtime, provide physical labor and work changing shifts as required to meet business requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned in support of business goals and objectives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Position Summary
As a Mold and Water Restoration Technician, you will be in charge of removing, replacing and repairing water damaged materials and handling any issues caused by water damage. Our technicians are the face of our organization and the first contact a client has after a traumatic situation, which is why our Mold and Water Restoration Technicians need to have good customer service and be willing to help others.
Key Responsibilities
Handle any issues caused by water damage and remove and replace damaged materials
Responsible for setting up air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA air scrubbers to restore damaged property
Work closely with the management team to ensure customers are well taken care of
Communicate in a friendly and professional manner with teammates and customers
Follow company policies to maintain safety, quality, and a professional image
Drive a company vehicle to and from job sites while following all state traffic laws and company policies
Document drying progress using a phone or tablet
Qualifications
Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid driver's license
Must be able to work overtime as needed and some holidays
IICRC certifications in water damage or mold remediation preferred
1-2 years of Structural Restoration experience preferred
2-4 years of Construction experience preferred
2-4 years of Customer Service experience preferred
Speaking English is not a requirement of the position, but you must be eligible to work in the US.
