The Assistant Operator supports the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of plant equipment by assisting with field operations, performing routine inspections, and learning control room procedures. This role is an entry point into plant operations, providing hands-on experience and training toward becoming a Control Room Operator. The Assistant Operator works closely with the control room and maintenance teams to ensure plant safety, reliability, and continuous improvement. OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE Support Safe and Reliable Plant Operations Assist with field inspections, equipment monitoring, and basic operational tasks to ensure the plant runs safely and efficiently under the guidance of Control Room Operators.
