What you'll be doing:
Define, lead, and own the security architecture for the autonomous driving platform, including the perception stack, sensor fusion, localization, and path planning systems.
Architect robust security controls for safety-critical components, such as high-performance compute, sensor arrays, and fail-operational systems.
Lead comprehensive threat modeling (STRIDE, TARA) on autonomous driving systems, addressing complex attack vectors like GPS spoofing, sensor blinding, and adversarial machine learning.
Design and own the secure architecture for vehicle-to-cloud communication, over-the-air (OTA) updates, and high-volume data telemetry using AWS services.
Provide technical oversight and direction for Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs), defining monitoring requirements and validating service effectiveness.
Develop and enforce security requirements based on industry standards (ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE WP.29 R155) for engineering teams.
Serve as the lead technical authority on security for AI/ML, robotics, hardware, and systems engineering teams.
What we're looking for:
8+ years of experience in product security, with at least 3 years focused on autonomous systems, robotics, automotive, or safety-critical embedded systems.
Demonstrated experience securing autonomous driving domains, such as perception, sensor fusion, localization, or motion planning.
Experience designing and securing AWS cloud infrastructure, including services like AWS IoT Core, SageMaker, KMS, and VPC.
Knowledge of automotive architectures (ECU, CAN bus, Automotive Ethernet, AUTOSAR).
Expertise in applied cryptography, identity and access management, secure boot processes, and secure development lifecycles (SDL).
Hands-on experience with regulated cybersecurity standards, ideally automotive-related (ISO/SAE 21434).
Bonus Points (not required):
Experience with hardware-backed security (HSMs, TPMs, TrustZone).
Familiarity with functional safety standards (ISO 26262).
Experience managing or providing technical oversight for third-party security vendors or MSSPs.
Background in vulnerability research or penetration testing for ML/AI systems.

BASIC REQUIREMENT OR INDIVIDUAL OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENT:
A. Degree: Engineering. To be acceptable, the program must: (1) lead to a bachelor's degree in a school of engineering with at least one program accredited by ABET; or (2) include differential and integral calculus and courses (more advanced than first-year physics and chemistry) in five of the following seven areas of engineering science or physics: (a) statics, dynamics; (b) strength of materials (stress-strain relationships); (c) fluid mechanics, hydraulics; (d) thermodynamics; (e) electrical fields and circuits; (f) nature and properties of materials (relating particle and aggregate structure to properties); and (g) any other comparable area of fundamental engineering science or physics, such as optics, heat transfer, soil mechanics, or electronics.

B. Combination of education and experience -- college-level education, training, and/or technical experience that furnished (1) a thorough knowledge of the physical and mathematical sciences underlying engineering, and (2) a good understanding, both theoretical and practical, of the engineering sciences and techniques and their applications to one of the branches of engineering.
In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
