Each tutor will be given the responsibility of taking daily attendance using a personal device (mobile phone) or a school issued laptop. Required Qualifications: A minimum of 30 college credits is required. An exception may be provided for applicants who do not have a minimum of 30 college credits but are enrolled in an approved teacher education preparatory program or participated in a teacher introduction course in high school. Candidates new to ACPS must pass a background check Candidates must be able to understand, follow, and communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing. They must be able to work effectively with children, young adults, faculty, and staff; and perform all required tasks, as assigned. Tutors must be able to commit to tutoring until May 31, 2024. Candidates who have experience teaching and/or tutoring are preferred. All tutoring programs will take place in person at ACPS schools under school administration supervision.
