* This job includes batching, legal pasteurization, and storage of all products according to plant SOPs and the PMO. Candidates will be required to understand the following operational needs:
* Operation of the HTST while maintaining legal pasteurization requirements.
* Proper documentation for all charts and records in accordance with NYS AG+MKTS legal requirements.
* The individual will be required to obtain and maintain NYS AG+MKTS broken seal certification and assist with HTST system inspections.
* They must have the ability to CIP all tanks, lines, and equipment associated with processing. Follow all company formulation and assure correct ingredients amounts are being used and documented.
* Assist with setting yogurt silos, operating the yogurt separator, and assisting in the cottage cheese vat room when needed.
* Perform a daily inventory of products in the processing area at beginning of the shift to maintain 72/24 hour storage regulations.
* Work in conjunction with manufacturing employees to properly transfer raw ingredients.
* Will be required to perform assigned sanitary PM tasks monthly.
* Maintain all documented information as per SQF requirements.
* Keep all work areas, including the ingredient storage area, neat and clean at all times, to conform to GMP and SQF requirements.
* Understand and follow all safety procedures, always wear proper PPE, and never put yourself or other employees in harm's way.
