This position offers a unique opportunity to oversee the development process from creating new designs, sourcing, overseeing production, and ensuring quality assurance. Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of uniforms, ensuring they are stylish, functional, and aligned with the Team Penske brand. Conduct research on industry trends, and technologies to inform design decisions and innovate within the professional team apparel space. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including management, marketing, and the competition/athletic departments to gather insights and feedback on uniform requirements. Present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine and enhance designs. Work with external manufacturers and suppliers to source and select materials, colors, fabrics, and trims that enhance the overall design and performance of all team apparel. Lead the design process from concept through to final production, ensuring that all team apparel meets high brand standards and quality expectations. Create technical specifications and design briefs, to provide clear direction to manufacturers and suppliers, while overseeing the manufacturing process to ensure quality and adherence to design intent. Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field or equivalent work experience. At least 3 years of experience; preferably working in professional sports and/or entertainment. Highest level of integrity. Strong portfolio showcasing leading design projects from ideation to execution, particularly in uniform or apparel design. Expertise in textiles, materials, and garment construction, with an understanding of manufacturing processes. Creative thinker with a passion for design and with exceptional level of organization and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and presentation skills. Ability to work well with others in a cross-functional team environment. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Adaptable and open to feedback, with a continuous improvement mindset. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and design software Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop). Available to travel as needed, including race weekends or weekdays.

Founded in 2004, Myrtle Beach Building Supply operates locations in Murrells Inlet and Little River, providing specialty building materials to customers along the coast of South Carolina. . The Designer Hourly uses computer or technical tools to prepare detailed presentation of building material requirements and or systems for assigned project or related segment. This position may design and complete layouts of residential roof and floor systems for pricing and manufacturing. What you will do Designs kitchen and bathroom cabinets. Discusses changes and corrections with engineers, architects and contractors prior to and during construction. Presents, sells and follows-up on new jobs. Prepares roof truss and truss joist floor layouts. Performs job site inspections. Produces materials list. Determines special notes to append contracts. Resolves architectural and design discrepancies. Assists in the shipping department. Complies with Company's attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance. Performs other duties as necessary. Read and understand blueprints and detailed technical drawings. Use computer or other technical equipment to provide a technically accurate layout (takeoff) of customer order. Adhere to local building codes and material constraints when developing material list and design layout. Produce final copies for contractor use for bathrooms, kitchens, decks, patios and others as assigned. Assist customers as required, providing accurate, timely and thorough customer service. Measure and scale projects on-site. Attend training as required to maintain current knowledge of drafting and relevant aspects.
