PURPOSE STATEMENT: Under direct and close supervision, performs a variety of standard engineering work involving the design, modification, development, maintenance and installation of utility and non-utility gas distribution systems. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES: Plans, designs and develops related specifications for the installation, betterment or maintenance of gas systems for assigned projects. May also be required to prepare cost estimates.
