The Manufacturing operator position is responsible for operating assembly equipment and/or second operation machines through various tasks such as greenforming, sintering, laser cutting, wet saw cutting, inspecting, trimming, testing, fixturing, assembling and packaging membrane products. Completes other duties as assigned.This role is a 2nd shift, Monday-Friday, 2 pm to 10:30 pm shift. Responsibilities: Verifies product visually and takes corrective action when necessary. Participates actively in continuous improvement activities such as 6s, Kaizen events, etc. Completes miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals. Communicates potential hazards immediately to supervisor. Follow a documented sequence of identifying, measuring, and processing raw metal powders to create targeted product forms. Use computer driven vacuum furnaces to process "green forms", and subsequently inspect measure and document metal membrane products. Perform cutting and cleaning processes, final inspection, labeling and packaging of products. Enter all inspection data and batch detail information into SAP. Perform setup and adjustments according to work instruction specifications. Use of metrology equipment (Scales, calipers...) and basic math. Use of computer programs, excel and other data entry tasks. Operate and verify the performance of equipment and make necessary adjustments. Ability to build to necessary Takt rate per product type. Assist with inventory and cycle count. Prioritize work in accordance with lead/supervisor direction. Keep work area clean and organized. May provide direction to lower level operators. What You'll Do: As a Production Technician at Curaleaf, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality cannabis products by supporting every stage of the packaging process. In this fast-paced, hands-on role, you will: Stage products and packaging materials across production lines while performing quality assurance checks to meet daily schedules and Curaleaf's high standards Boost operational efficiency and minimize waste by taking ownership, collaborating with the team, and communicating effectively Conduct in-process and final quality checks, including testing, visual inspections, and precise weighing, while maintaining 100% compliance in data recording, product tracking, and secure packaging Work quickly and efficiently to boost productivity while keeping the extraction room organized, clean, and inspection-ready Operate efficiently while following OSHA standards, Curaleaf SOPs, and all required procedures, ensuring every product is accurately labeled and fully compliant with state regulations What You'll Bring: You are eager to learn and can be trained on various production equipment and SOPs while consistently meeting performance expectations set by leadership You bring strong attention to detail and effective communication skills, thriving in a fast-paced, team-based production environment You can comfortably perform repetitive tasks with focus and consistency over extended periods You have a strong work ethic, are punctual and reliable, and help maintain a positive, professional team environment You have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent Even Better If: You have at least one year of manufacturing or packaging experience focused on product safety, consumer satisfaction, and delivering high-quality results Physical Requirements Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time (8-10 hours per shift) Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and occasional lifting of heavier items with assistance Frequent and repetitive use of hands and wrists for extended periods of time Repetitive bending, squatting, and reaching Ability to climb ladders or step stools to access plants or equipment Ability to use required PPE when required, such as masks, hair nets, beard covers, respirators, boot covers, scrubs, non-slip shoes, and Tyvek suits as necessary Environmental Conditions Exposure to environments with high humidity, varying temperatures, and strong odors (such as cannabis) Exposure to soil, water, fertilizer, dust, pollen and plant pathogens Exposure to cleaning solvents, such as high volumes of isopropyl alcohol Exposure to loud noises, including but not limited to air compressors, packaging equipment, and alarms Exposure to CO2 manufacturing procedures at OSHA approved CO2 levels Massachusetts Hiring Range$17-$17.50 USD What We Offer: Career Growth Opportunities Competitive Pay and Benefits Generous PTO and Parental Leave 401(K) Retirement Plan Life/ Disability Insurance Community Involvement Referral Bonuses and Product Discounts Benefits vary by state, role type, and eligibility.
