We are currently looking for a Sr. Production Assembler, 1st Shift, Monday through Friday. Carpentry experience building cabinets, stairs, door units, and/or tables preferred… and/or experience installing door units or machine operating in a production shop
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Using kitted frame parts and prepped doors, assemble custom door units
* Operate several different saws to cut material, power tools for special door prep, and may be required to operate a CNC machine or other automated machinery.
* Read work orders to assure accuracy of assembly
* Make necessary repairs or adjustments to assure quality
* Apply special hardware, such as Bommer hinges, spring pivot hinges, multi-point locks and panic hardware
Qualifications:
* 2-4 years' related experience
* Capable of reading a tape measure
* Experience in using hand tools, pneumatic staple gun, and other electric tools when necessary.
* Experience with specialized carpentry tools (Plus)

Job Summary:

Essential Functions*:
* Read, understand, and follow drawings and/or job instructions to complete tasks. Ensure that products manufactured meet requirements specified in their controlling documents (work orders, PWI's, procedures, forms, etc.) and ensure that only controlled copies are used for production-related functions.
* Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety requirements as detailed in the process work instructions (PWIs).
* Production tasks may include;
* Welding (resistance, TIG)
* Soldering
* Loading/unloading, operating, and monitoring machines, making any necessary adjustments to product and/or machine to ensure high quality standards.
* Setup and change out tooling.
* Testing as required by operation (ex. SPC/MES, pass/fail, etc.)
* Performing wire prep
* Recording and maintaining neat, legible, complete, and accurate production records
* Performing manual assembly operations (ex. gluing, shrink wrapping, cell placement)
* Packaging of product
* Label making
* Running a slitter
* Performing tab cutting operations
* Quality checks, both visual and using measurement tools (gauges)
* Computer skills/SPC computer work and accurate logging of information into a computer system
* Cleaning tools, machines, and work area. Properly disposing of any hazardous waste in accordance with EHS procedures.
* Multi-task between different job responsibilities.

Wrapping machine: foil levels and replace foil when low/out, ensuring the wrapping machine is performing correctly and that bars are properly wrapped, sealed, have the correct date code stamped on them, and communicating any issues with the wrapping lead
Enrober operator: operate melter to ensure that there is enough melted product for the run, add coating to the enrober, keep the enrober hopper filled to optimum operating levels, and ensure that quantities and lot numbers of the coating are documented appropriately
Guillotine operator: ensure bars are the appropriate height, width and weight by making any necessary adjustments to the slitters, belts, and guillotine as well as check weights and perform quality checks on bars coming through.
Slab line operator: monitor the slab of product to ensure that it is the correct width, height and weight. Adjust the compression rollers to adjust the height of the bars and take sample bars to ensure weights are within product specifications

Job Summary:

Essential Functions*:
Read, understand, and follow drawings and/or job instructions to complete tasks. Ensure that products manufactured meet requirements specified in their controlling documents (work orders, PWI's, procedures, forms, etc.) and ensure that only controlled copies are used for production-related functions.
Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety requirements as detailed in the process work instructions (PWIs).
Production tasks may include;
Welding (resistance, TIG)
Soldering
Loading/unloading, operating, and monitoring machines, making any necessary adjustments to product and/or machine to ensure high quality standards.
Setup and change out tooling.
Testing as required by operation (ex. SPC/MES, pass/fail, etc.)
Performing wire prep
Recording and maintaining neat, legible, complete, and accurate production records
Performing manual assembly operations (ex. gluing, shrink wrapping, cell placement)
Packaging of product
Label making
Running a slitter
Performing tab cutting operations
Quality checks, both visual and using measurement tools (gauges)

Product Operator Essential Job Functions:
Perform machining, assembly and/or extrusion functions using production machines
Will work with a variety of metals to create casts
Fill out any and all required documentation to track work, record scrap, and maintain the accuracy of completed parts and required inventory
May be required to perform rework as needed
Can work with different materials with minimal scrapped parts
Will learn to work with other support tools such as mics, gages, banders, and handtools
Read and interpret simple drawings and diagrams with assistance from supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or GED preferred, will consider previous work history
Standard pre-employment requirements apply
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills, both oral and written
Must be vaccinated
